Does that help i have to make a query that accept two entries from a field in Sails. Since Sails use waterline for ORM i've also tagged it on this question. , You could try this:
code :
Conversions.find().where({
  or: [
    {status: 0},
    {status: 1}
  ]
  }).exec(function(err, convs){
      // do something
});

I think the issue was by ths following , As per Stackoverflow question 20068270 - Install sails.js locally and/or avoid any spaces in directory names. And, yes, Grunt is a single point of failure in sails.js.

With these it helps You don't have to define the identity of model. Sails.js will use it as a identity and assign it to global i think.
simply remove following line of your model
code :
identity:'article',

To fix the issue you can do while the email validation rule fails on module of the sails.js, the server is crashing. Here the snippet of my module: // The user's email address , The correct way to declare an email field is like this :
code :
email: {
  type: 'email',
  required: true,//Email field will be required for insert or update
  unique: true //Insert or update will crash if you try to insert duplicate email
},
MyModel.create({email:email}).exec(function(err, model)
{
     if(err)
     {
       //Check if it's a validation error or a crash
       if(err.code == "E_VALIDATION")
         sails.log.debug("valid fail, check form");
       else
         sails.log.debug("crash");
     }
     else
     {
       //do what you want to do with the data
     }
});

will help you You might have to write your controller. The only other method of control would be to turn populate off globally and then you can specify what you want populated via the api on each request.
code :
api.com/stuff?populate=associatedStuff

this one helps. gconsidine, sails-mongo v0.11.0 and v0.11.1 have a bad connection configs. Check my answer on a previous thread: https://stackoverflow.com/a/29973775/4249576. Try updating sails-mongo to v0.11.2.
