hope this fix your issue Here is an example of how to filter the output of ec2-describe-instances based on the value of a tag:
code :
aws ec2 describe-instances --query 'Reservations[*].Instances[*].[InstanceId]' --filters "Name=platform,Values=windows" --output text

this one helps.
Is there any other way to execute commands which include wildcards in Java?
code :
Process proc = new ProcessBuilder("/bin/bash", "-c",
                                  "ls /.../directory_path/*.tar.gz").start();

Reader reader = new InputStreamReader(proc.getInputStream());
int ch;
while ((ch = reader.read()) != -1)
    System.out.print((char) ch);
reader.close();

I wish this helpful for you For what you want, you should enter the string as a command-line argument to bash. (That is, Process(Seq("bash","-c","cd test && javac *.java")).!) The reason is that there is no virtual shell into which you're entering commands that will change state like cd. You have to create one explicitly.
The process tools will allow you to chain calls together, but the side-effects of the calls had better be reflected in the file system or somesuch, not in the shell environment. The ProcessBuilder scaladoc contains an example at the end of the introductory text.

seems to work fine FILTER doesn't support wildcards, no. You need to do something like:
=COUNT(FILTER(B:B,B:B=223,SEARCH("herp",C:C)))

To fix this issue I am trying to get Jenkins to execute a shell command but still allow wildcards to be used. Here's what I'm trying to do for reference: , If it's a simple single .jar file try this:
code :
mvn deploy:deploy-file -Dpackaging=jar -DrepositoryId=snapshots -Durl=http://nexus.example.net/content/repositories/snapshots -DpomFile=Spigot/Spigot-Server/pom.xml -Dfile=$(find Spigot/Spigot-Server/target/ -name 'spigot-*.jar')
