Shared client & server modules with angularjs and pongular

Shared client & server modules with angularjs and pongular

I think the issue was by ths following , I can think of some possible solutions:
Include in the shared files only the array of dependencies and the function call (e.g. module('moduleName').factory(["$http", function($http) { ... }]);), and use a preprocessor to wrap the file with angular. or pongular.
code :
// in the browser
function require() { return angular; }

I hope this helps you . I've got something like this: , You could pass it as an argument:
code :
exports.test = function(player, currentRoom) {
        player.on('message',function(msg) {
                player.broadcast.to(currentRoom).emit('message',msg);
        });
    }
AngularJS shared REST service between modules and controllers

AngularJS shared REST service between modules and controllers

hope this fix your issue let's Abstract the problem
as i understand you want to make custom factory "service" which can be used in all modules and controllers that is responsible for consuming rest api
code :
var ServiceApp = angular.module('ServiceApp', []);
ServiceApp
        .factory(
                'restControllerService',
                [
                        '$http',
                        function($http) {

                            var doRequest =
                            function(URL) {
                                    return $http({
                                        method : 'get',
                                        url :  URL,
                                       headers : {
                                       'Content-Type' :'application/json'
                                                 }
                                    });
                                    });
                                }

                            }
                            return {
                                getBook : function() {
                                    return doRequest('api/book');
                                }
                            };
                        } ]);
var library = angular.module('libraryModule', [ "ServiceApp" ]);
libraryModule.controller('LibraryCtrl', [
        '$scope',
        'restControllerService',
        function($scope,restControllerService) {

            $scope.book = null;

            $scope.getbook = function() {

                    restControllerService.getbook('api/book').success(
                            function(data) {
                                $scope.book = data;
                            }).error(function() {
                        $scope.book = null;
                    });
                }
            };

Configuring shared services across multiple modules in AngularJS

Configuring shared services across multiple modules in AngularJS

may help you . As a matter of best practice, you should configure services as early as possible, which is typically your main module (the app root), and preferably only once to avoid overlapping changes.
Since $http is a singleton (as you mentioned), any changes via configuration will be propagated throughout the application every time you inject $http.
code :
<div ng-app="app"></div>
angular.module("app", ["app.feature1"])
    .config(function() {
        alert('main config');
});

angular.module("app.feature1", [])
    .config(function() {
        alert('child config');
});

I wish this helpful for you The ASP.NET Core SPA with Angular 4 template splits the AppModule into three files so that Webpack will be able to efficiently compile the client-side bundle (suitable for running in browsers) and the server-side prerendering bundle (meant for running in Node).
More specifically, such approach expects that:
