I wish this help you So you know for a fact that some PHP code returns "1"? Do you also know for a fact that this "1" ends up in strResult? No spaces around it? You make the beginner's mistake of thinking that your code is right and something magical stops it from working. Instead your attitude should be: I made a mistake. Where did I make the mistake?
Setting a breakpoint on the if statement would be a good first step to find your bug.

hope this fix your issue The device has iOS 7.0.4. What is the new project's Deployment Target? If it's 7.1 then there is your problem. Change the Deployment Target to 7.0 or earlier.

should help you out When you execute process.py you're already located inside the mapper package. Python will look through all the path defined in sys.path to find module, which in this case is only made of ["standard python path", "Mapper/mapper"].
In this case, python won't find a module named mapper inside those directories (you already are IN the mapper module).
c statements not recognized in yacc file

seems to work fine Are you sure you have Yacc installed there at all? It's weird -ly isn't needed because it's what links Yacc's libraries with your code. It can also be that Yacc is very old or simply broken on those machines.
You can try something like the following: on the problematic platform, run yacc in standalone mode on your .y file and examine the resulting code. Try to find your C statements there. To make it all simpler, start with a small toy grammar and then move to your real/large grammar.
