will be helpful for those in need I have a select box which gives me an input from 1-20. , You need to use another variable to store the initial value.
code :
var grandtotal = 6000; //Declare another variable
function fun(t){
    var addedprice = t.value * 600;
    total = grandtotal + addedprice;
}

around this issue I recommend that you keep using the change event. The Firefox implementation makes lots of sense for keyboard users. If you tab to the select element and choose an entry using Up and Down keys (and you have to press them a lot for a lengthy list) you don't want to trigger tons of actions on the web page. It is ok to have the action executed once you've selected the correct entry and moved on to something else.

Any of those help Yes it is possible.
For that write a common onChange function for all input field and Define name with each input field same as the state variable name, then use e.target.name to access the state variable name and update that state variable inside onChange function like this:
code :
<form id="form">
    <input type="text" name="username" onChange={this.onFormChange}/>
    <input type="password" name="password" onChange={this.onFormChange}/>
    <input type="checkbox" name="remember_me" onChange={this.onFormChange}/> Remember Me
</form>

onFormChange(e){
    let target = e.target;
    this.setState({
        [target.name]: target.type == 'checkbox' ? target.checked : target.value
    })
}
this.onFormChange = this.onFormChange.bind(this);

This might help you When you pass a second argument to setState(), e.g. setState({foo: bar}, ), the is supposed to be a callback function that gets called when setState() has finished updating. In your code, instead of passing your function this.getTableData as an argument, you are passing the expression returned from calling this.getTableData(), in this case undefined.
In your code here:
code :
filterSiteSelect(selection) {
    const siteId = selection.id;
    const siteName = selection.name;

    this.setState({
        siteId, siteName
    }, this.getTableData());
}

filterLineTypeSelect(selection) {
    const lineTypeId = selection.id;
    const lineTypeName = selection.name;

    this.setState({
        lineTypeId, lineTypeName
    }, this.getTableData());
}
filterSiteSelect(selection) {
    const siteId = selection.id;
    const siteName = selection.name;

    this.setState({
        siteId, siteName
    }, this.getTableData);
}

filterLineTypeSelect(selection) {
    const lineTypeId = selection.id;
    const lineTypeName = selection.name;

    this.setState({
        lineTypeId, lineTypeName
    }, this.getTableData);
}
