What is the java equivilant to MySQL's smallint

I wish did fix the issue. As per the comment below, for MySQL's smallint, java's short should cover that value range. Of course, you could also use an int, but keep in mind that it allows many values that the database column does not.

may help you . No, your best bet is to use a "lock", in this case a file lock.
See http://us3.php.net/flock for more information on file locking.

I wish this helpful for you You cannot cast UShort into Integer as it does not inherit that class. I guess you should use UShort.intValue() to retrieve the Integer.
Java Collator with similar characteristic as MySQLs utf8_general_ci collation

Java Collator with similar characteristic as MySQLs utf8_general_ci collation

I hope this helps you . Is there any Collator implementation which has the same characteristics as MySQL's utf8_general_ci? I need a collator which is case insensitive and does not distinguish german umlauts like ä with the vowel a. , You could use the following collator:
code :
Collator collator = Collator.getInstance();
collator.setStrength(Collator.PRIMARY);
System.out.println(compare("abc", "ÀBC", Collator.PRIMARY)); //base char
System.out.println(compare("abc", "ÀBC", Collator.SECONDARY)); //base char + accent
System.out.println(compare("abc", "ÀBC", Collator.TERTIARY)); //base char + accent + case
System.out.println(compare("abc", "ÀBC", Collator.IDENTICAL)); //base char + accent + case + bits

private static int compare(String first, String second, int strength) {
   Collator collator = Collator.getInstance();
   collator.setStrength(strength);
   return collator.compare(first, second);
}

I think the issue was by ths following , The issue here is probably where you call FILEGROUP_NAME() in the SELECT clause of the definition of CursorIndex. As per the MSDN definition, the filegroup_id parameter passed to FILEGROUP_NAME() is of type smallint. I expect you have one or more records in sys.indexes which have a data_space_id value greater than 32,767 (the maximum value which can be stored in a smallint variable).
You can check by running:
code :
SELECT  SCHEMA_NAME(t.schema_id) [schema_name] ,
        t.name AS TableName,
        ix.name AS IndexName,
        ix.data_space_id
FROM    sys.tables t
INNER JOIN sys.indexes ix ON t.object_id = ix.object_id
WHERE   ix.type > 0
    AND ix.is_primary_key = 0
    AND ix.is_unique_constraint = 0
    AND t.is_ms_shipped = 0
    AND ix.data_space_id > 32767
ORDER BY SCHEMA_NAME(t.schema_id),
         t.name,
         ix.name

To fix this issue Yes, you can use parallelStream, for example, convert integer list to string list:
code :
List<Integer> list = List.of(1, 2);

List<String> strings =
        list.parallelStream()
                .map(integer -> String.valueOf(integer)).collect(Collectors.toList());
