This might help you i need to send arraylist value from fragment to activity. I have tried with few codes but the return value is null.any help with code or tutorial of parcelable for arraylist passing value from activity to fragment.
code :
    public void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data){
            if (requestCode == 999) {
                @SuppressWarnings("unchecked")
                ArrayList<String> ar1 =  data.getStringArrayListExtra("key");
                if(ar1.size()!= 0){
                for (int i = 0; i < ar1.size(); i++) {
                    String value = ar1.get(i);
                    Toast.makeText(getActivity(),
                            "Path of array in home Fragment: "+ar1,
                            Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
    }       }      }     }

Help with passing ArrayList and parcelable Activity

this one helps. So I've been googling most of yesterday and last nite and just can't seem to wrap my head around how to pass an arraylist to a subactivity. There are tons of examples and snippets passing primitive data types, but what I have is an arraylist of type address (address.java below). , I can see a number of problems here:
code :
intent.putParcelableArrayListExtra( "addresses", addyExtras );

help you fix your problem The problem seems to be with your FragmentPagerAdapter class. You're not passing any arguments through the fragment returned by getItem() method it just returns the fragment object without any arguments passed to it.
So modify the method to below
code :
@Override
public Fragment getItem(int position) {
    CityInfomationFragment fragment = new CityInformationFragment();
    Bundle args = new Bundle();
    args.putParcelableArrayList("key", your_array_list);
    fragment.setArguments(args);
    return fragment;
}

seems to work fine Please make sure you are using the object you created.
This should work.
code :
IngredientListFragment ingredientListFragment = IngredientListFragment.newInstance(mRecipe.getIngredients());

getSupportFragmentManager()
        .beginTransaction()
        .add(R.id.first_fragment_container, ingredientListFragment)
        .commit();

it fixes the issue I'm trying to pass an object that implements Parcelable from an activity to a fragment. I know how to pass from activity to activity. I just want to try this. But when I received the object it always receivednull. How can I resolve this problem? , Try this
First, change some small things.
code :
// 1. Parse the object to the fragment as a bundle;
ContentMainFragment contentMainFragment = new ContentMainFragment();

Bundle bundle = new Bundle();
bundle.putParcelable("SampleObject", currentObject);
contentMainFragment.setArguments(bundle);

// 2. Commit the fragment.
getSupportFragmentManager().beginTransaction()
        .add(R.id.fragment_container, contentMainFragment).commit();
// 1. Get the object in onCreate();
if (getArguments() != null) {
    link = getArguments().getParcelable("SampleObject").getLink();
}
