it should still fix some issue This may looks stupid but i finally resolve the problem by putting above line of code in some event trigger. like following:
code :
webReport.Report.StartReport += delegate(object sender, EventArgs e)
   webReport.Report.SetParameterValue("CurrentDateTimeParam","Some String Here");

wish of those help You shouldn't have any white space before the = sign in your URL, and you should have a quote before the URL:
code :
<a href="page2.jsp?value=<%=value %>">Page2</a>
        ^               ^
<c:url var="page2Url" value="page2.jsp">
    <c:param name="value" value="${someBean.value}"/>
<a href="${fn:escapeXml(page2Url)}">Page2</a>

Hope this helps I am getting value: VALUE in the applet viewer here. But then that is after increasing the width of the applet element from 100 to 200 in the comment at the top of the source. Thinner than that, and the text becomes truncated.

may help you . As I already noted in the comments, you're not actually sending any data with your Ajax call - so it is no wonder that the server cannot see any username property.
All you should need to do to have this work as intended is to replace this:
code :
fetch('login', {
    method: 'POST'
fetch('login', {
    method: 'POST',
    body: {username: document.getElementById("username").value}
