r - run a user defined function several times by taking column elements as parameters

To fix the issue you can do When x[1,1]=net2013 , I get the output as 20. But what do I have to do to execute this piece of code for all the elements of the first column of x (i.e: x[ ,1]). While loop didn't execute and I'm having trouble with apply and do.call. I have to use a switch statement and obtain output for tens of thousands of rows. Please help. , The expression you need is probably
code :
  lapply(x[, 1], function(A) centre(z, A))

it helps some times At this point in time, the best we can (portably) do is a macro trick as demonstrated for vtmpl::string. Basically, we create a list of accesses such as
code :
"abcd" -> {(0 < sizeof "abcd"? "abcd"[0] : 0), (1 < sizeof "abcd"? "abcd"[1] : 0), ...}
#define VTMPL_SPLIT_1(s, x, m) m(s, x)
#define VTMPL_SPLIT_4(s, x, m)    VTMPL_SPLIT_1  (s, x, m), VTMPL_SPLIT_1  (s, x+1  , m), VTMPL_SPLIT_1  (s, x+2  , m), VTMPL_SPLIT_1  (s, x+3  , m)
#define VTMPL_SPLIT_16(s, x, m)   VTMPL_SPLIT_4  (s, x, m), VTMPL_SPLIT_4  (s, x+4  , m), VTMPL_SPLIT_4  (s, x+8  , m), VTMPL_SPLIT_4  (s, x+12 , m)
#define VTMPL_SPLIT_64(s, x, m)   VTMPL_SPLIT_16 (s, x, m), VTMPL_SPLIT_16 (s, x+16 , m), VTMPL_SPLIT_16 (s, x+32 , m), VTMPL_SPLIT_16 (s, x+48 , m)
#define VTMPL_SPLIT_256(s, x, m)  VTMPL_SPLIT_64 (s, x, m), VTMPL_SPLIT_64 (s, x+64 , m), VTMPL_SPLIT_64 (s, x+128, m), VTMPL_SPLIT_64 (s, x+194, m)
#define VTMPL_SPLIT_1024(s, x, m) VTMPL_SPLIT_256(s, x, m), VTMPL_SPLIT_256(s, x+256, m), VTMPL_SPLIT_256(s, x+512, m), VTMPL_SPLIT_256(s, x+768, m)
#define VTMPL_STRING_IMPL(str, n) vtmpl::rtrim<vtmpl::value_list<decltype(*str), VTMPL_SPLIT_##n(str, 0, VTMPL_ARRAY_SPLIT)>>::type
#
#define VTMPL_STRING(str) VTMPL_STRING_IMPL(str, 64  )

I hope this helps . I have a function, which will get greatest of three dates from the table. , How about if your query is like this?
code :
select a.*, fn_max_date_val(id) as max_date
  from
    (SELECT a.id,a.name,a.value,a.status_id,last_modified_dt
       FROM table1 where status_id ='Active' a
      order by status_id desc,last_modified_dt desc) a;

I wish this helpful for you I have two functions, one that asks the user for three pieces of input, and another that asks the user to enter a number. I would like to make a for loop, so that the first function runs for the number of times entered by the user in the second function.
