How to make an int counter for the days

How to make an int counter for the days

will help you You can follow the below mentioned steps to find the counter you are looking for
Create an NSDate Object currentDate Get the current time from [currentDate timeIntervalSince1970], this will return you the current time in UTC since 1970 thus eliminating any effect of changing the date on your device since you cannot go behind 1970. Tried on my iPhone Save this time in NSUserDefaults as the time your startTime, will be helpful if your application goes into the background or is terminated Schedule a 24 hours timer using the NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval function, it will increment the counter by one Once the counter is incremented, restart the timer so that it updates the counter again after 24 hours If your application was terminated or became inactive due to which the NSTimer stops, you can always update the counter by finding the difference in seconds between the current time (follow step # 1 and 2) and the time you saved in NSUserDefaults and converting that into days, also resetting the timer accordingly so that it can increment the counter accordingly

wish help you to fix your issue On my website I want to display an onscreen event once a button is clicked to record a wbcam (so that people know when the recording starts). , This code:
code :
$('#message').animateCount(1, 3);
callback();
$('.message').countTo({
    from: 1,
    to: 3,
    speed: 3000,
    refreshInterval: 50,
    formatter: function (value, options) {
        return value.toFixed(options.decimals);
    },
    onComplete: callback
});
callback();
setTimeout(callback, 3000);

Hope this helps You seem to be getting the count right. So the only problems left I guess are:
Getting max count Displaying it in bold
code :
var vowels = new Array ();
vowels [0] = {"vowel" : "A", "count" : countA};
vowels [1] = {"vowel" : "E", "count" : countE};
vowels [2] = {"vowel" : "I", "count" : countI};
vowels [3] = {"vowel" : "O", "count" : countO};
vowels [4] = {"vowel" : "U", "count" : countU};
var maxCount = Math.max.apply(Math, vowels.map(function(o) {
    return o.count;
}));

for (var i = 0; i < vowels.length; i++) {
    document.getElementById("result").innerHTML += (vowels[i].count == maxCount? "<B>" : "") + vowels[i].vowel + "'s: " + vowels[i].count + "<br />";
}

I wish did fix the issue. You can use ternary operator to chceck if days == 0
document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = ((days) ? days + "d " : '') + hours + "h " + minutes + "m " + seconds + "s ";
code :
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<style>
p {
  text-align: center;
  font-size: 60px;
  margin-top:0px;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>

<p id="demo"></p>

<script>
// Set the date we're counting down to
var countDownDate = new Date("April 12, 2018 15:37:25").getTime();

// Update the count down every 1 second
var x = setInterval(function() {

    // Get todays date and time
    var now = new Date().getTime();

    // Find the distance between now an the count down date
    var distance = countDownDate - now;

    // Time calculations for days, hours, minutes and seconds
    var days = Math.floor(distance / (1000 * 60 * 60 * 24));
    var hours = Math.floor((distance % (1000 * 60 * 60 * 24)) / (1000 * 60 * 60));
    var minutes = Math.floor((distance % (1000 * 60 * 60)) / (1000 * 60));
    var seconds = Math.floor((distance % (1000 * 60)) / 1000);

    // Output the result in an element with id="demo"
    document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = ((days) ? days + "d " : '') + hours + "h "
    + minutes + "m " + seconds + "s ";

    // If the count down is over, write some text
    if (distance < 0) {
        clearInterval(x);
        document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = "EXPIRED";
    }
}, 1000);
</script>

</body>
</html>

may help you . This is the perfect place for a default function argument. Since this is a class member function that means you need to change your function declaration to be
code :
void setCounter(int ck = 0);
