I wish this help you you are creating a new answersList for every POST request. You need create the list once and store it in Session.
code :
[HttpPost]
public ActionResult Index(QuestionLoadDTO ques)
{
    List<string> answersList = null;
    if(Session["answersList"] != null)
        answersList = Session["answersList"] as List<string>;
    else
    {
        answersList = new List<string>();
        Session["answersList"] = answersList;
    }
    int count = 0;
    count = int.Parse(Request["qid"].ToString());
    count++;
    string selectedAnswer = ques.selected.ToString();
    answersList.Add(selectedAnswer);
    if (count <= 4)
    {
        IQuestionService ser = new QuestionService();
        QuestionLoadDTO q = ser.GetIndividualQuestions(count);
        return View(q);
    }
    Session["msg"] = answersList;
    return RedirectToAction("Submit");
}

should help you out You might be better off having your function append the results to the list, then printing outside the function.
code :
>>> def append():
...   l = []
...   for i in range(3):
...     l.append(str(i))
...   return l
...
>>> l = append()
>>> l
['0', '1', '2']
>>> def append(l):
...   for i in range(3):
...     l.append(str(i))
...
>>> l = []
>>> append(l)
>>> l
['0', '1', '2']

hop of those help? Yes, you have to lock. The Parallel.For will cause concurrent calls to Add().
On a side note:
code :
//var Result = new List<Int32> ();
var Result = new List<Int32> (100000);
ParallelEnumerable.Range (1, 100000)

this one helps. I've got an issue right here, I'm getting a memory violation error (I am handling the memory) and also a wrong input. What I am doing is a pointer managed list. , This line is the culprit:
code :
Lyric* poetry = new Lyric();
Lyric* poetry = nullptr;

it should still fix some issue 1- move the declaration of struct node *new_node, *current; to outside the do loop (to just before the do), because you want them to keep their values between iterations.
2- a newline character remained in the buffer after the scanf that read the number, because the user had to type return after the number, and the scanf did not consume it. To skip this newline when getting the Y/N answer, get your Y/N answer in this way instead of ch = getchar();:
code :
  scanf(" %c", &ch); // notice the blank before the %c, important to skip the newline that remained in the buffer

will help you When you use += on a list, it tries to add all the items from the list on the right of the operator into the list on the left. However, an int is not a list, so you will have to use numHolder.append(grid[b][x]).
