I wish this helpful for you Turns out it was because cordova-plugin-purchase caches a bunch of things in localStorage such as owned status and receipts that were getting validated. Fixed with localStorage.clear(); and a reload.

So many hours wasted, hope that Apple improves the sandbox in the future

To fix the issue you can do This likely would involve your own independent servers and "developer payload" information. As stated in this Subscriptions link:
Include business logic in your app to notify your backend servers of subscription purchases, tokens, and any billing errors that may occur. Your backend servers can use the server-side API to query and update your records and follow up with customers directly, if needed.

Hope this helps After much searching, I found my answer in the last few comments in this issue on the Plugin's Github: You have to publish your application (in Alpha mode) on Google Play for it to actually work.
Publishing in Alpha mode only lets people in your test group access the application, so no worries about it being public. Just fill the mandatory fields with temporary information.

I wish this helpful for you Some how i was able to solve the issue. Initially in my device i have not set my time set automatically. Some how the time which i have set is 5 mins more than the real time. So when validating the the expire date it always shows as a expired subscription.
Since the time period really small(3 mins) for a week, when testing in sandbox mode. It gave me the wrong information, i guess.
