This might help you Although I can't try the code myself, I'm willing to bet that the issue is an incorrect date format. in the original code, it has January 26, 2015 20:39:00, but you're trying to use February, 28 2015 20:00:00. See below:
code :
January 26, 2015 20:39:00
February, 28 2015 20:00:00
        ^-------------------- this comma is misplaced
?jQuery(function($){

To fix the issue you can do Good day. , for help with links.
I make answer for my question:
code :
var timer = $('#counttime').html();
timer = timer.split(':');

if(timer.length == 3){
var hours = timer[0];
var minutes = timer[1];
var seconds = timer[2];
}
else if(timer.length == 2){
var hours = 0;
var minutes = timer[0];
var seconds = timer[1];
}

if(hours > 0 || minutes > 0 || seconds > 0){

setInterval(function() {

seconds -= 1;

if (seconds < 0 && minutes > 0 && hours > 0) {
    minutes -= 1;
    seconds = 59;

}

else if (seconds < 0 && minutes == 0 && hours > 0) {
    hours -= 1;
    minutes = 59;
    seconds = 59;

}

else if (seconds < 0 && minutes > 0 && hours == 0) {
    hours = 0;
    minutes -= 1;
    seconds = 59;
}

if(hours > 0 && hours < 10 && ((hours+'').length != 2)) hours = '0' + hours;

if ((minutes < 10) && ((minutes+'').length < 2)) minutes = '0' + minutes;

if (seconds < 10 && length.seconds != 2) seconds = '0' + seconds;

   if(hours > 0){hoursN = hours + ':';}else{hoursN = '';}
    $('#counttime').html(hoursN + minutes + ':' + seconds);

}, 1000);

}

will be helpful for those in need I am trying to make a countdown timer based on the Pomodoro technique where you work for 25 minutes then take a break. I am writing the page in Javascript and jQuery using the jQuery.countdown and moment.js plugins. I have it so that when a user hits the start button it counts down 25 minutes but then after that timer is finished I want there to have two break options restart the timer again. Then it just goes in a cycle 25mins->break->25 mins->break->etc depending on what button the user pushes at the end of countdown.
code :
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
    <title>countdown</title>
    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>

The ending time is:"2018-07-09 11:14:44 +0000" but when I use the timer instead of showing that there are 20 mins or 2 hours left it shows 30 days 20 hours and 58 mins. What am I doing wrong??? My application.js: , Months are zero based, so you have to turn 1 - 12 to 0 - 11:
code :
new Date(year, month - 1 /*!*/, /*...*/)
