fixed the issue. Will look into that further The very quick and simple answer to this is to just use the list functions with a delimiter, as there can be only one.
code :
ListFirst(OriginalURL,'?')
ListLast(OriginalURL,'?')

regex pattern to find full stop, exclamation mark or question mark in Java

With these it helps I'm a newbie to regex. Here's the pattern that I could think of : , This works for me:
code :
import java.io.IOException;
import java.util.regex.Matcher;
import java.util.regex.Pattern;

public class Main {

    public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException {
        Pattern pattern = Pattern.compile("[.!?]");
        Matcher m = pattern.matcher("Hello?World!...");
        while (m.find()) {
            System.err.println(m.group());
        }
    }

}
How to add a full stop to the end of a string, except if there is question mark, exclamation mark or semicolon?

hope this fix your issue Sounds like you are using 8bit string functions to process unicode characters. That cannot work.
You should install the mbstring package and enable "mbstring function overloading" in your php configuration. That will take care to silently override all relevant string handling functions to use their multi byte safe equivalents instead, so that you do not have to change your code.

hope this fix your issue Let's see what you are doing with (?!['\,\.\?\!a-zA-Z]+).
What your regex means is Look ahead if multiple characters mentioned in class, if present then match zero width after it.
code :
<?php
  $userResponse = "i'm so happy that you're here with me! :)";
  $userResponse = preg_replace("~[^a-zA-Z',.?!\s]~", "", $userResponse);
  echo $userResponse;
?>

I wish this helpful for you To help you out, what you write is not a regex. test.split("/(\?|\.|!)/"); is simply an 11 character string. A regex would be, for example, test.split(/(\?|\.|!)/);. This still would not be the regex you're looking for.
The problem with this regex is that it's looking for a ?, ., or ! character only, and capturing that lone character. What you want to do is find any number of characters, followed by one of those three characters.
code :
const rawText = `abc?aaa.abcd?.aabbccc!`;
const matchedArray = rawText.match(/.*?[?!.]/g);
console.log(matchedArray);
