I hope this helps you . There's not much scoping here, only "context".
As the IIFE is invoked without a context then the inner this defaults to window (except in ES5 "strict mode") that also being the default value of this in the global scope.

JavaScript Execute Array of Functions & Return True If All Return True

This might help you Use forEach to take up each element of itemList. Inside that loop, use every to check if every function in checksArray passes.
code :
function foo(checksArray) { //checksArray: [func1, func2, func3]
  var itemList = [1, 2, 3, 4];

  itemList.forEach(function(item) {
    if (checksArray.every(function(check) { return check(item); })) doSomething();
  });
}

hope this fix your issue I have checked this question, adn also this but still my problem persists. I need to store in Mysql in VARCHAR field different data, like true, false, numbers and other strings. When I get 'true' or 'false' strings from my DB, in my JS code I need to check that it is boolean type, hence return true both for true and false values, ore something like typeof Boolean === true, in other case return false. I tried many variants from the above mentioned questions, but all solutions returned true if the value was true and false if the values was false which is wrong for me. Any ideas how to do that would be welcome. Thank you. , To determine if the value is one of "true" or "false":
code :
if (value === "true" || value === "false")
What does the { all: 'true' } JavaScript code snippet mean exactly?

var obj = { all: "true" };

console.log(obj.all);

hope this fix your issue I have an array of booleans, which begins as false, because at least one of the values is false: var validation = [false, true, true] In certain moment, it'll have all the options(index) as "true", like: validation = [true, true, true] How can I set this array as "true" when all the options are true? , You can use .every() method:
code :
let arr1 = [false, true, true],
    arr2 = [true, true, true];

let checker = arr => arr.every(v => v === true);

console.log(checker(arr1));
console.log(checker(arr2));
let arr1 = [false, true, true],
    arr2 = [true, true, true];

let checker = arr => arr.every(Boolean);

console.log(checker(arr1));
console.log(checker(arr2));
Why does '1' == true return true, yet '2' == true return false in Javascript

like below fixes the issue My answer is based off this table.
In your example, operand A is a String, and operand B is boolean. So then it calls ToNumber on both of them and compares them for strict (===) equality.
