SQL, PDO, and PHP - Conditioned rowCount() function

SQL, PDO, and PHP - Conditioned rowCount() function

fixed the issue. Will look into that further You can find the documentation for rowCount here: http://php.net/manual/en/pdostatement.rowcount.php
Is there something else you are doing with the result that precludes you from only selecting rows with that condition?:
code :
SELECT id, building_name FROM campus WHERE building_name = 'IT House'
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM campus WHERE building_name = 'IT House'
$stmt->execute();
$result = $stmt->fetchAll();
$num = 0;
foreach($result as $row) {
  if( 'IT House' == $row['building_name'] ) {
    $num++;
  }
}

wish of those help Sorry if it is a dumb question but I've stuck with this problem for a whole afternoon but cannot find a solution because I'm not skilled with complicated SQL : , You'll need an additional subquery like:
code :
    DetachedCriteria subQuery = DetachedCriteria.forClass(Message.class, "msg");
    subQuery.add(Restrictions.eqProperty("msg.user", "mainQuerymsg.user"));
    subQueryEntriesCount.setProjection(Projections.rowCount());

    c.add(Subqueries.lt(1L, subQuery));

will be helpful for those in need No; this is not possible. C does not allow nesting of functions and there is no hidden context (like this in C++) when calling a function.
You can solve your problem by mix-in the generic Iterator into a private structure. E.g.
code :
/* public header */
struct Iterator {
    ...
};

/* private implementation */
struct foo_iterator {
    struct Iterator it;
    size_t size;
    ...
}

struct Iterator* iterator_create(size_t size, ...)
{
    struct foo_iterator *it = calloc(1, sizeof *it);

    it->size = size;
    return &it->it;
}

Iterator* iterator_next(struct Iterator *it)
{
    struct foo_iterator *it = container_of(it, struct Iterator, it);

    ...
}
R return a conditioned number of objects in a FUNCTION

wish of those help I have a function in which I want to return a different object per column of a matrix. However, I don't know how to make the return such that it identifies how many variables to create within a list given that it will be conditioned to the number of columns of the input matrix. In other words, how do I change the last command in the following function: , lapply is what you are looking for
code :
f <- function(Treat){
    lapply(1:ncol(Treat), function(i) as.matrix(Treat[,i]))
}

around this issue I want to write a function that returns the lesser of two given numbers if both numbers are even, but returns the greater if one or both numbers are odd. , You can use min and max functions:
code :
m, n = 1, 8

print(max(m, n) if m % 2 or n % 2 else min(m, n))
# 8

this will help I need to create a HEADER and a TRAILER record. The TRAILER needs to include the RowCount of the 'main' query. How Can I get the @@Rowcount of the query and save it to variable , to be included in the TRAILER. , You can use a CTE to reuse the definition of the main query:
code :
WITH Query AS (
    SELECT top 10 lastname from CUSTOMERS
)
SELECT X.Result
FROM (
    SELECT Cast('H' as Char(2)) + Cast('MyFile' as Char(30))
        + CONVERT(Char(8),GetDate(),112) AS Result, 1 AS Position
    UNION ALL
    SELECT *, 2 AS Position FROM Query
    UNION ALL
    Select Cast('T' as Char(2)) + CONVERT(Char(9),GetDate(),112) + Right(Replicate('0',9)
        + Cast((SELECT COUNT(*) FROM Query) as VarChar(9)),9) AS Result, 3 AS Position
) X ORDER BY X.Position
SELECT TOP 10 lastname INTO #Temp FROM CUSTOMERS

SELECT X.Result
FROM (
    SELECT Cast('H' as Char(2)) + Cast('MyFile' as Char(30))
         + CONVERT(Char(8),GetDate(),112) AS Result, 1 AS Position
    UNION ALL
    SELECT *, 2 AS Position FROM #Temp
    UNION ALL
    Select Cast('T' as Char(2)) + CONVERT(Char(9),GetDate(),112) + Right(Replicate('0',9)
         + Cast((SELECT COUNT(*) FROM #Temp) as VarChar(9)),9) AS Result, 3 AS Position
) X ORDER BY X.Position
