around this issue New to R.I am using str_extract_all from the stringr package to try and extract coordinates that are currently in this format: , This looks to work:
code :
> str_extract_all(coordinate, perl("-?\\d+\\.?\\d*"))
[[1]]
[1] "-2.824602" "53.235397"
matrix(as.numeric(unlist(
      str_extract_all(rep(coordinate, 4), perl("-?\\d+\\.?\\d*"))
)), ncol = 2, byrow = T)
          [,1]    [,2]
[1,] -2.824602 53.2354
[2,] -2.824602 53.2354
[3,] -2.824602 53.2354
[4,] -2.824602 53.2354

To fix the issue you can do Here is an example in C#, just in case you want to parse the GPS, and not only extract it from the HTML code:
code :
var text = @"Some example that contains S 33 58.254 E 023 53.269
                  and also S 22 58.123 W 021 53.2";
var pattern = @"([SN])\s(\d+)\s(\d+(?:\.\d+)?)\s([EW])\s(\d+)\s(\d+(?:\.\d*)?)";
var m = Regex.Matches(text, pattern);
for (int i = 0; i < m.Count; i++) {
    Console.WriteLine("GPS Found: {0}", m[i].Value);
    Console.WriteLine("-----");
    Console.WriteLine(m[i].Groups[1].Value);
    Console.WriteLine(m[i].Groups[2].Value);
    Console.WriteLine(m[i].Groups[3].Value);
    Console.WriteLine(m[i].Groups[4].Value);
    Console.WriteLine(m[i].Groups[5].Value);
    Console.WriteLine(m[i].Groups[6].Value);
    Console.WriteLine("-----");
}
GPS Found: S 33 58.254 E 023 53.269
-----
S
33
58.254
E
023
53.269
-----
GPS Found: S 22 58.123 W 021 53.2
-----
S
22
58.123
W
021
53.2
-----

it fixes the issue Say you have to parse strings to match something like this :
code :
if (/^\d+\|\d+$/.test(subject)) {
    // Successful match
}
^   # Start of string
\d+ # One or more digits
\|  # literal |
\d+ # One or more digits
$   # End of string

I think the issue was by ths following , On web page like this , Ok, so this is my solution ..
code :
function nativeTreeWalker() {
    var walker = document.createTreeWalker(
        document.body,
        NodeFilter.SHOW_TEXT,
        null,
        false
    );

    var node;
    var textNodes = [];
    var name = false;
    var elem = null;

    while(node = walker.nextNode()) {

        if (name){ elem.push(node.nodeValue); textNodes.push(elem); console.log(elem); name = false; }
        else { elem = null; }

        elem = node.nodeValue.match(/\d{2}.\d+/g);
        if (elem!=null){ name=true; }

    }
}

nativeTreeWalker()

like below fixes the issue From string liike this "42.901189372459974,71.36591345071793"; i try to get numbers 42.901189 71.365913 , You need to escape \ when using RegExp constructor
code :
var expr = new RegExp("[0-9][0-9]\\.[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]","gim");
var expr = /\d{2}\.\d{6}/gim; // the same as above
