Hope that helps looks about the same to me, see this common line, Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: storage == null at java.util.Arrays$ArrayList.(Arrays.java:38) at java.util.Arrays.asList(Arrays.java:155)
Somewhere in your MainService class, it appears you are attempting to convert a null Array to a List. Lets confirm by looking at the code for Arrays.asList:
code :
    public static <T> List<T> asList(T... array) {
        return new ArrayList<T>(array);
    }
    ...
    ArrayList(E[] storage) {
        if (storage == null) {
            throw new NullPointerException("storage == null");
        }
        a = storage;
    }
    ...

hope this fix your issue I'm using a patched plexus-compiler-eclipse (I patched the POM to include the 3.7/Helios compiler).
In the class EclipseJavaCompiler.CompilationUnit, there is this code:
code :
    public char[] getFileName()
    {
        return className.toCharArray();
    }
    public char[] getFileName()
    {
        return sourceFile.toCharArray();
    }

I hope this helps you . If one is debugging, not all optimizations need to be turned on unless you are debugging the optimization itself. So tail recursion optimization (TRO) doesn't have to disable backtraces during debugging unless the development environment is braindead (eg., doesn't have a "disable optimizations" option).
The space occupied by the metadata if you did record it is pretty small; basically its says, "a recursive call was made". A linked list with elements of a small number of bytes would do the trick. But I don't think it would make sense to record backtrace metadata in the face of TRO; if you are optimizing, you probabaly don't want to pay the extra time cost of recording the metadata, either, just because somebody might want to debug later.

This might help you You should use an un-minified version of jQuery, Underscore and Backbone when debugging. Life will be a lot easier if you do it that way.
As far as I can tell, you are having a problem with your $.ajax call within they Backbone.sync function, but it is way too difficult to tell when you are working with minified JS.

should help you out I have a very similar question myself about getting stack traces and dumps which I asked here: How do I get crash logs and stack traces from WinRT apps written in C#?.
Microsoft makes getting crash info from WinRT apps very difficult compared to Android. Unlike Android there is no builtin log like logcat where you can see why your app crashed with a simple stack trace. Android gives this to developers and doesn't ask them to write a single line of code!

To fix this issue I'm also having this trouble and I can't find too a good answer for this. Instead I did a work around and catch the error with Thread.setDefaultUncaughtExceptionHandler() and Log it with Log.e()
I used this class to do it.
