Convert a List<Object> to List String

Convert a List<Object> to List String

With these it helps What you're getting back in your query is a List which is expected as per the spec. The first element in your array is the string ar.authorId.firstName and the second is a Long representing count(ar)
A String.format should work here for you:
code :
for(Object[] objs : list1) {
    System.out.println(String.format("name %s articles %s",objs[0],objs[1]);
}

I hope this helps you . Daniel,
I found this article that has a solution that might work for you. http://theburningmonk.com/2011/05/idictionarystring-object-to-expandoobject-extension-method/
code :
  public static ExpandoObject ToExpando(this IDictionary<string, object> dictionary)
        {
            var expando = new ExpandoObject();
            var expandoDic = (IDictionary<string, object>)expando;

            // go through the items in the dictionary and copy over the key value pairs)
            foreach (var kvp in dictionary)
            {
                // if the value can also be turned into an ExpandoObject, then do it!
                if (kvp.Value is IDictionary<string, object>)
                {
                    var expandoValue = ((IDictionary<string, object>)kvp.Value).ToExpando();
                    expandoDic.Add(kvp.Key, expandoValue);
                }
                else if (kvp.Value is ICollection)
                {
                    // iterate through the collection and convert any strin-object dictionaries
                    // along the way into expando objects
                    var itemList = new List<object>();
                    foreach (var item in (ICollection)kvp.Value)
                    {
                        if (item is IDictionary<string, object>)
                        {
                            var expandoItem = ((IDictionary<string, object>)item).ToExpando();
                            itemList.Add(expandoItem);
                        }
                        else
                        {
                            itemList.Add(item);
                        }
                    }

                    expandoDic.Add(kvp.Key, itemList);
                }
                else
                {
                    expandoDic.Add(kvp);
                }
            }

            return expando;
        }
List<ExpandoObject> flattenSummary3 = new List<ExpandoObject>();
foreach ( var s in a.Summaries)
{
    flattenSummary3.Add(s.ToExpando());
}

this will help I do app for windows phone 8.1 and now I need to convert List(List(object)) to List(List(string))... , You can do it with normal Linq, but Tim's solution is neater:
code :
using System.Linq;

....

List<List<string>> stringList = result.Select(
    lst => lst.Select(o => (o ?? "").ToString()).ToList()
).ToList()
public List<List<string>> ExecuteScalarEx()
{
    if (_conn.Trace)
    {
        Debug.WriteLine("Executing Query: " + this);
    }

    List<List<string>> stringList = new List<List<string>>();

    var stmt = Prepare();

    while (SQLite3.Step(stmt) == SQLite3.Result.Row)
    {
        int columnCount = SQLite3.ColumnCount(stmt);

        List<string> row = new List<string>();
        for (int i = 0; i < columnCount; i++)
        {
            var colType = SQLite3.ColumnType(stmt, i);
            string val = (ReadColEx(stmt, i, colType) ?? "").ToString();
            row.Add(val);
        }
        stringList.Add(row);
    }

    return stringList;
}

hop of those help? You don't need to convert to a string in order to use this result as a datasource (although if you actually need a string I can show you how to create a formatted string instead of an anonymous class object). You likely need something like this:
code :
public static List<Transaction> banksearch(string bankname, string sdate = null, string edate = null, string condition = null)
    {
        if (sdate == null && edate == null)//only bank
        {
           return transactions // type: List<Transaction>
                .Where(t => t.BankName == bankname)
                .ToList();
        } else {
           return new List<Transaction>();
       }
  }

wish of those help First of all, the output of convert method would have to be Option[Output], or some monad of Output (Try, Either, scalaz.\/, scalaz.Validation, etc.) in case the contents of the Seq[String] can't be converted to Output (wrong length of Seq, errors in parsing Ints or Doubles, etc.)
A possible implementation with shapeless would have a typeclass to convert String to its parameter type, and an auxiliary typeclass to convert an HList of String to the HList representation of Output with the first typeclass.
code :
import shapeless._
import shapeless.syntax.std.traversable._
import shapeless.ops.traversable._

trait Parse[Out] {
  def apply(value: String): Option[Out]
}
object Parse {
  implicit object convertToInt extends Parse[Int] {
    def apply(value: String) = Try(value.toInt).toOption
  }

  implicit object convertToString extends Parse[String] {
    def apply(value: String) = Some(value)
  }

  implicit object convertToDouble extends Parse[Double] {
    def apply(value: String) = Try(value.toDouble).toOption
  }
}

trait ParseAll[Out] {
  type In <: HList
  def apply(values: In): Option[Out]
}

object ParseAll {

  type Aux[I, O] = ParseAll[O] { type In = I }

  implicit object convertHNil extends ParseAll[HNil] {
    type In = HNil
    def apply(value: HNil) = Some(HNil)
  }

  implicit def convertHList[T, HO <: HList](implicit
    cv: Parse[T],
    cl: ParseAll[HO]
  ) = new ParseAll[T :: HO] {
    type In = String :: cl.In
    def apply(value: In) = value match {
      case x :: xs => for {
        t <- cv(x)
        h0 <- cl(xs)
      } yield t :: h0
    }
  }
}

trait Converter {
  type Output
  def convert[S <: HList, H <: HList](values: List[String])(implicit
    gen: Generic.Aux[Output, H], // Compute HList representation `H` of Output
    parse: ParseAll.Aux[S, H], // Generate parser of Hlist of String `S` to HList `H`
    ft: FromTraversable[S] // Generate converter of `List[String]` to HList of Strings `S`
  ): Option[Output] =
    values.toHList[S].flatMap(parse.apply).map(gen.from)
}

it should still fix some issue Assuming ReceivedValue is a string like below (your example did not have the quotes around it making it a list of dictionaries) you can use eval(ReceivedValue) to convert it.
[Standard Disclaimer applies] Note that there are security implications to using eval - do you trust the source of the string you are about to evaluate? Evaluating malicious string could cause it to execute code on your system. https://nedbatchelder.com/blog/201206/eval_really_is_dangerous.html
code :
>>> ReceivedValue = "[{'Value1': 'OutPut00', 'Value2': 'OutPut01', 'Value3': '2253.23'},{'Value1': 'NA', 'Value3': 'NA'}]"
>>>
>>> my_list = eval(ReceivedValue)
>>>
>>> my_list
[{'Value1': 'OutPut00', 'Value2': 'OutPut01', 'Value3': '2253.23'}, {'Value1': 'NA', 'Value3': 'NA'}]
>>>
>>> my_list[0]
{'Value1': 'OutPut00', 'Value2': 'OutPut01', 'Value3': '2253.23'}
>>>
>>> my_list[1]
{'Value1': 'NA', 'Value3': 'NA'}
