Any of those help Setting the database initializer from config is difficult to get right because your root namespace, assembly name, and DLL name can all be different.
A more strongly typed approach would be:
code :
public class serverContext: DbContext
{

    public serverContext(): base("serverContext")
    {
        Database.SetInitializer<serverContext>(new serverInitializer());
        ...

To fix the issue you can do It should work if you make sure that your new column match exactly your new property.
For example, if you add a property NewProp
code :
public class MyEntity
{
    [Key]
    public int Id;

    public string PropA;
    public int PropB;

    public int NewProp;

}

seems to work fine For those that want to know what was the problem. When you create a MVC 5 project with Idenity, it adds ApplicationDbContext class to connect to the database. I had created another DBContext for my entities. When I changed my entities and run add-migration it affected only chnages that was made for those ootb entities which belong to ApplicationDbContext not my DBContext. and When I run update-database it does not update my entities. I added all my entities to ApplicationDbContext and run add-migration then update-database and it solved the problem.

I wish this helpful for you Fixed this in the end by doing it a really down and ditry way and deleting the database and starting again. Seeing as it's an app in development I can afford to, but obviously I wouldn't recommend this way for production.

seems to work fine I guess the database being used in the unit test project, that gets it's connection string from the project's app.config, is not the same as the one being used in the webapp project, that gets it's connection string from the project's web.config.
So, instead of using
