With these it helps There is no specific event for this that will work across browsers. Firefox does fire a scroll event when the text "scrolls" by changing the insertion point, but Chrome and likely other browsers don't.
Here is a list of events that could change the insertion point.

Reading input text through scrolled window?

Reading input text through scrolled window?

around this issue I have created a scrolled window using pyGTK. When I type some text in the scrolled window,that typed text must be written in a file. I have a function which could write to the file. But as and when I go typing some text into the scrolled window that function must be called. If anyone suggest me the solution that would be very helpufull.
code :
import glib, gtk

saveFilePath = 'textview.txt'

isChanged = True

def onBufferChanged(b):
    global isChanged
    isChanged = True

def onTimeout():
    if isChanged:
        text = textbuff.get_text(textbuff.get_start_iter(), textbuff.get_end_iter())
        open(saveFilePath, 'w').write(text)
        isChanged = False
    return True ## Continue loop

textview = gtk.TextView()
textbuff = textview.get_buffer()
textbuff.connect('changed', onBufferChanged)
glib.timeout_add_seconds(1, onTimeout)

dialog = gtk.Dialog()
dialog.vbox.pack_start(textview, 1, 1)
dialog.vbox.show_all()
dialog.run()

hop of those help? You will need to do a combination of things:
Use jQuery's data command capabilities to save the initial value. Use the jQuery's focusout or blur or change event to check the current value against what is saved using data.
code :
$('.isDirty')
<script type="text/javascript">
    $(document).ready(function () {
        var txtSectorE = $('#sector_e');

        // Save the initial value
        $.data(txtSectorE, "last", txtSectorE.val());

        // Setup the event
        txtSectorE.focusout(function () {
            var last = $.data(txtSectorE, "last");
            if (last != $(this).val())
                alert("changed");
        });
    });
</script>

<input id="sector_e" name="sector_e" type="text" value="Please click The Map">
    <script type="text/javascript">
        $(document).ready(function () {
            var txtSectors = $('.sector');

            $.each(txtSectors, function (index, textbox) {

                // Save the initial value
                $.data(textbox, "last", textbox.val());

                // Setup the event
                textbox.focusout(function () {
                    var element = $(this);
                    var last = $.data(element, "last");
                    if (last != element.val())
                        alert("changed");
                });
            });
        });
    </script>

<input id="sector_a" type="text" class="sector" value="Something">
<input id="sector_b" type="text" class="sector" value="Another">
<input id="sector_c" type="text" class="sector" value="Yet Again">
<input id="sector_d" type="text" class="sector" value="Wow This Arduous">
<input id="sector_e" type="text" class="sector" value="Getting Tired Of Typing">

help you fix your problem From the JQuery onChange documentation (equivalent to on('change', ...)):
code :
$('span').on('click', function() {
    $('input').val('1').change();
})

seems to work fine html tags including type='text' support the onchange event. The onchange event occurs when the value of an element has been changed.

I wish this helpful for you For people who come across this post from Google, and found no luck like me, fortunately, I found the solution.
The idea is simple, every time the text is changed, I will compare it with content from the clipboard. That's it.
