it fixes the issue I work on the Internet Explorer team and will gladly look into this for you. To answer your question about overwriting the onblur handler in the iframe, this is possible if the two documents share a common domain. In your example, this is the case.
code :
document.querySelector( "iframe" ).contentWindow.onblur = null;

This might help you Apparently you need to include the name in the call to createElement. This works in IE and causes an exception in standards compliant browsers. We get:
code :
var iframe;
try {
    iframe = document.createElement('<iframe name="hidden_iframe">');
} catch (ex) {
    iframe = document.createElement('iframe');
    iframe.name='hidden_iframe';
}

iframe.className = 'NotVisible';
iframe.id = 'hidden_iframe';
document.body.appendChild(iframe);

var my_form = document.getElementById('my_form');
my_form.target = 'hidden_iframe';

it fixes the issue You should try .focusout() and .focusin(). The big difference as noted in the API is that these bubble up, but if I remember right, they also work in IE6+ jQuery API - focus Out

To fix this issue Well, when I choose Back command from context menu, it does the same. In IE10 you can use HTML5 State Management. I'm afraid in IE9 you must track hash history and than change it like this:
Prevent right click on <iframe> where an iframe contains PDF file in Internet Explorer(IE strictly)

Does that help One way you can do it is to unbind all the mouse events. Would't be the best way. And I agree with ahren

Any of those help I just removed the /msie/.test(navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase()) || part, and works fine on IE8. Are you sure that you need this piece of code?
However, whether you don't want remove this piece, you can remove the base tag and add it after you create the iframe:
