This might help you I solved my 2 problems this way: created another @Service class and moved method_B() into it. I've annotated this class as @Transactional. Now the method method_A() looks like this:
code :
public void method_A() {
   for(...) {
      try {
      } catch (Exception e) {

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I could reproduce this issue (in a different, but very similar situation). The problem is caused by this combination:
code :
// Fault class:
public Exception MyInnerException { get; set; }

// Just before throwing the FaultException
mx.MyInnerException = dvex; // <-- DivideByZeroException

I think the issue was by ths following , As far as I know, as soon as a runtime exception is thrown from a transactional method and is intercepted by the transaction interceptor, the transaction is marked as rollback only. Even if this transactional method is called from another transactional method.
This makes sense to me: if the inner method can't recover from an exception, it can't recover, and an outer method shouldn't do as if nothing happened.

This might help you Are you shure, doCatch is ignored? It should catch your exception, but you must tell camel that exception is handled. Without this camel won't catch it. After add
code :
Not all exceptions catched within the error handler
