Quantifying sharp edges in an images with Python

Hope that helps If you find the 2D FFT method unsatisfactory, you might consider attacking this problem using opencv since the toolkit is highly developed and provides many tools suitable for the problem you describe.
One potential strategy: construct an image pyramid from the image in question. Then, perform an edge detection operation on the resulting set of images. Strong edges should appear at all (or most) scales in the pyramid.

UIBezierPath Gives Sharp Edges

Hope this helps Despite the name, UIBezierPath doesn't just draw curves. In fact, by default it won't - presumably you're simply passing the coordinates returned by touchesBegan etc, into the addLineToPoint method.
Instead of simply passing all the touch coordinates directly into a UIBezierPath you should first interpolate them to avoid these sharp lines that occur when you rapidly move your finger across the screen. This is not too difficult, although does require some knowledge of how bezier curves work and spline interpolation.

I think the issue was by ths following , You need to clarify your use case better, in order to see what shortcuts are available. Ask yourself: What do you use the difference for? Can you live with an approximate difference? Do you only need to tell if the images are exactly equal?
Also, what computation time do you want to optimize? Worst case? Average? Can you live with a large variance in computation times?

wish help you to fix your issue The problem is that the green arc is overlapping the red one.
This causes some red color in the antialiased border of the green arc, which makes it look bad:

should help you out I need to convert many PDF pages to images, containing simple shapes such as rectangles or triangles. Texts and composed shapes consist of lines are also in the PDFs. , Something like this, maybe?
