help you fix your problem There's an open pull request to fix this, but it hasn't been merged yet.
The FIG_PROJECT_NAME variable will work, but it needs to be an environment variable. You can also pass it at the command line using the project-name flag.
code :
export FIG_PROJECT_NAME="newname"
fig up
fig --project-name=newname up

This might help you It turns out that by repository it meant ‘service’. I updated service name as show bellow and it works.
code :
 services:
      Pricing.api: => pricing.api with lowercase ‘p’
        environment:
          - ASPNETCORE_ENVIRONMENT=Development
        ports:
          - "80"

will be helpful for those in need My guess would be that it's because of the white space in C:\Users\AARYAN DEWAN\Desktop\localdjango\django.
I would try the following instead:
code :
py -m pip install -e "C:\Users\AARYAN DEWAN\Desktop\localdjango\django"

hop of those help? A "reference" in docker is a pointer to an image. It may be an image name, an image ID, include a registry server in the name, use a sha256 tag to pin the image, and anything else that can be used to point to the image you want to run.
The invalid reference format error message means docker cannot convert the string you've provided to an image. This may be an invalid name, or it may be from a parsing error earlier in the docker run command line if that's how you run the image. With a compose file, if you expand a variable in the image name, that variable may not be expanding correctly.
code :
docker ${args_to_docker} run ${args_to_run} image_ref ${cmd_to_exec}
docker run -v $(pwd):/data image_ref
docker run -v "$(pwd):/data" image_ref
