will be helpful for those in need C# requires everything to be defined within a class so you can't do anything about it.
In the upcoming C# 6 there is a new construct where you can use using with a class. With using YourApp.board the syntax you want would be possible.

Does that help I have a constants class full of a bunch of final static strings. I need a way to get access to all these constants in this class in a nice array type form without manually created an array with each constant. , You can use reflection to get the declared fields:
code :
import java.lang.reflect.Field;
import java.lang.reflect.Modifier;

public class field1 {
    private double d;
    public static final int i = 37;
    String s = "testing";

    public static void main(String args[]) {
        field1 f = new field1();

        try {
            Class cls = Class.forName("field1");

            Field fieldlist[] = cls.getDeclaredFields();
            for (Field field : fieldlist) {
                System.out.println("name = " + field.getName());
                System.out.println("decl class = " + field.getDeclaringClass());
                System.out.println("type = " + field.getType());

                int mod = field.getModifiers();
                System.out.println("modifiers = " + Modifier.toString(mod));
                System.out.println("value = " + field.get(f));
                System.out.println("-----");
            }
        } catch (Throwable e) {
            System.err.println(e);
        }
    }
}

hope this fix your issue I'm quite new to the variadic template of C++2011 and I would like to know if a trick exists to do the following thing : , Here is the way to implement other two functionality:
code :
template<unsigned int... T> struct mul;
template<unsigned int L,unsigned int... T> struct mul<L,T...>
{
static const int val= L*mul<T...>::val;
};
template<unsigned int L> struct mul<L>
{
static const int val= L;
};

template<typename T, unsigned int... TDIM> class VariadicTest
{
    public:
        static const unsigned int order_const = sizeof...(TDIM);
        static const unsigned int size_const = mul<TDIM...>::val;
        static const unsigned int dim_const[order_const];
};
template<typename T, unsigned int... TDIM>
const unsigned int VariadicTest<T,TDIM...>::dim_const[order_const] = {TDIM...};
Why does Array.constants not show the list of constants in Object class?

Hope this helps All top level constants in Ruby are added to Object as you have seen with Object.constants. The advantage of this is that every class inherits from Object, so all top level constants are always available (as you might intuitively expect).
Now suppose that Module#constants worked as you expected: every class lists the top level constants it inherits from Object. What a pain that would be! We would constantly be writing Foo.constants - Object.constants meaning "the constants other than the uninteresting ones that are always around".
code :
if (tmp == rb_cObject && mod != rb_cObject) break;

Hope this helps I would go for a fourth option, preferring a collections.namedtuple:
code :
Animal = namedtuple('Animal', 'number_of_legs favourite_food')
DOG = Animal(4, ['Socks', 'Meat'])
CAT = Animal(4, ['Lasagna', 'Fish'])
from animals import CAT

print CAT.number_of_legs
from animals import animals

print animals['CAT']['number_of_legs']
>>> import sys
>>> sys.getsizeof({'number_of_legs': 4, 'favourite_food': ['Lasagna', 'Fish']})
140
>>> from collections import namedtuple
>>> Animal = namedtuple('Animal', 'number_of_legs favourite_food')
>>> sys.getsizeof(Animal(4, ['Lasagna', 'Fish']))

This might help you Given the following Ruby class ,
First, what happens when the following code is executed:
code :
PARENTS = [
  FATHER = :father,
  MOTHER = :mother
]
FATHER = :father
MOTHER = :mother
PARENTS = [FATHER, MOTHER] # or [:father, :mother]
class Example
  p outer_nesting: Module.nesting
  PARENTS = [
    p(inner_nesting: Module.nesting)
  ]
end
{:outer_nesting=>[Example]}
{:inner_nesting=>[Example]}
class Example
  PARENTS = []
  class << PARENTS
    FATHER = :father
    MOTHER = :mother
    PARENTS.push(FATHER, MOTHER)
  end
end

p Example.constants                          #=> [:PARENTS]
p Example::PARENTS.singleton_class.constants #=> [:FATHER, :MOTHER]
