Hope that helps You need to subclass PFSignUpViewController, and perform your layout customisations in viewDidLoad and viewDidLayoutSubviews.
code :
class SpuggySignUpViewController: PFSignUpViewController {
  override func viewDidLoad() {
    super.viewDidLoad()
    // Customisation here
  }

  override func viewDidLayoutSubviews() {
    super.viewDidLayoutSubviews()
    // More customisation here
  }

}
let loginController = PFLoginViewController()
let customSignupController = SpuggySignUpViewController()
loginController.signUpController = customSignupController
// Now show your login Controller

I wish this help you I'm using PFLoginViewController and instead of presenting it modally, I am presenting it as a subview so I can have a nice translucent background: , Have you try to change here "presentSignUpView:"
code :
[loginView.logInView.signUpButton  addTarget:self action:@selector(presentSignUpView:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside];
-(void)customSignUpViewOpen{
  //Implement your custom view controller code here ..
}
[loginView.logInView.signUpButton  removeTarget:self action:@selector(presentSignUpView:)  forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside];
[loginView.logInView.signUpButton  addTarget:self action:@selector(customSignUpViewOpen) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside];

fixed the issue. Will look into that further The goal is to make informationComplete = YES. To do this you can do something like:
code :
// loop through all of the submitted data
for (id key in info) {
    if (![key isEqualToString:@"KEYTOIGNORE"]) { //IF the key is not equal to specified string continue execution
        NSString *field = [info objectForKey:key];
        if (!field || !field.length) { // check completion
            informationComplete = NO;
            break;
         }
    }
}

wish of those help I am using Parse's built-in signup view controller on iOS, with the PFSignUpViewController. , The easiest way is to use the UITextFieldDelegate, like so:
code :
usernameTextField.delegate = self;
PFSignUpViewController <UITextFieldDelegate>
- (BOOL)textField:(UITextField *)field shouldChangeCharactersInRange:(NSRange)range replacementString:(NSString *)characters
{
    return ([characters [NSCharacterSet whitespaceAndNewlineCharacterSet]].location == NSNotFound);
}

Hope that helps Instead of using UITextField delegate you can add a target to your textfield for the control event editing changed:
in viewDidAppear
code :
self.logInViewcontroller.logInView?.usernameField!.delegate = self
self.logInViewcontroller.logInView?.usernameField.addTarget(self, action: "textChanged:", forControlEvents: .EditingChanged)
func textChanged(sender: UITextField) {
    sender.text = sender.text!.lowercaseString.stringByReplacingOccurrencesOfString(" ", withString: "_")
}
