I hope this helps you . If you're using propertiesToFetch, you also need to use the dictionary result type. That should do you, though it might not make your fetch quicker.

I hope this helps you . No it doesn't. There are two ways to do this:
Use multiple requests Have one request to get all A entities where the inverse A->B relationship is in a group of Bs. Then include an NSSortDescriptor to sort by B and separate the results in to groups.
NSFetchRequest two entities and put them in NSMutableArray

code :
self.forms = [[managedObjectContext executeFetchRequest:fetchRequest error:nil] mutableCopy];
[self.forms addObjectsFromArray:[[managedObjectContext executeFetchRequest:fetchRequest2 error:nil] mutableCopy]];

this will help Yes it is possible. You can specify a variable $TODAY and use it in code like so:
code :
NSFetchRequest *fetchRequest =   [self.managedObjectModel
  fetchRequestFromTemplateWithName:@"ScanFetch"
  substitutionVariables:@{@"TODAY":[NSDate date]}];
setIncludesSubentities: in an NSFetchRequest is broken for entities across multiple persistent stores

fixed the issue. Will look into that further The answer is unfortunately easy. Subentities across physically different files and/or models is not supported. In the underlying data structure, Core Data will take all sub-entities and flatten them out to a single table. So if you have a Parent, ChildA, ChildB and ChildC each with 4 attributes, then you will end up with a single table with 16 columns.
This is why sub-entities are not supported in the manner that you are attempting. Each model is a silo unto itself and can at most have weak references to objects in the other model(s).

fixed the issue. Will look into that further Ok, say I have many entities of type "Office" and it has a relationship called "employees" which is a to-many relationship containing "Employee" objects. "Employee" has an attribute called "lastName". , You want a SUBQUERY in your predicate.
