around this issue I am trying to add AutoComplete in my html , If you open the autocomplete file you'll see something like:
code :
define([
    "jquery",
    "./core",
    "./widget",
    "./position",
    "./menu"
], factory );
<script src="path-to/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="path-to/jquery-ui/ui/core.js"></script>
<script src="path-to/jquery-ui/ui/widget.js"></script>
<script src="path-to/jquery-ui/ui/position.js"></script>
<script src="path-to/jquery-ui/ui/menu.js"></script>
<script src="path-to/jquery-ui/ui/autocomplete.js"></script>

I wish this help you I have been been stuck on this same exact error with code that is very similar to yours.
I am only using the auto complete part of the code (no map display but my input call is the exact same as yours) so I can't completely verify this but the error seems to be caused by this in the input statement:
code :
<input id="address" placeholder="search for location" autocorrect="off" autocapitalize="off" spellcheck="off" type="text" class="form-control">
    this.mapsAPILoader.load().then(() => {
        let autocomplete = new google.maps.places.Autocomplete(
            <HTMLInputElement>document.getElementById("address"), {
            types: ['address']
        });
        autocomplete.addListener('place_changed', () => {
            this.ngZone.run(() => {
                // get the place result
                let place: google.maps.places.PlaceResult = autocomplete.getPlace();
                // add map calls here
            });
        });
    });

this will help I am trying to make this demo work but somehow it is not working for me. It keeps giving me error , Problem lies in this line,
code :
import { ServersComponent, User } from './servers/servers.component';
import { Component } from '@angular/core';
import {FormControl} from '@angular/forms';
import {Observable} from 'rxjs/Observable';
import {startWith} from 'rxjs/operators/startWith';
import {map} from 'rxjs/operators/map';
@Component({
  selector: 'app-servers',
  templateUrl: './servers.component.html',
  styleUrls: ['./servers.component.css']
})
export class ServersComponent {

  myControl = new FormControl();

  options = [
    new User('Mary'),
    new User('Shelley'),
    new User('Igor')
  ];

  filteredOptions: Observable<User[]>;

  ngOnInit() {
    this.filteredOptions = this.myControl.valueChanges
      .pipe(
        startWith<string | User>(''),
        map(value => typeof value === 'string' ? value : value.name),
        map(name => name ? this.filter(name) : this.options.slice())
      );
  }

  filter(name: string): User[] {
    return this.options.filter(option =>
      option.name.toLowerCase().indexOf(name.toLowerCase()) === 0);
  }

  displayFn(user?: User): string | undefined {
    return user ? user.name : undefined;
  }
}

I think the issue was by ths following , HTML has few special characters, but when they appear in “content” they should be encoded using an entity reference:
& as & < as < Etc.

This might help you I tried your code and it seems you just need simply initialize state in your constructor, please try this:
code :
constructor(props) {
  super(props);
  this.state = {
    movie1: null,
    movie2: null
  };
}

I think the issue was by ths following , There was a change in the data key naming convention in UI 1.9
jQuery 1.9/1.10 removed the key autocomplete and added uiAutocomplete
