AsyncContext response does not match original incoming request?

AsyncContext response does not match original incoming request?

With these it helps I've figured this one out. The request/responses are indeed being recycled, so by hanging on to the response assigned to the AsyncContext, I was writing out to a response that was associated with a different request.
Calling startAsync() guarantees that the request/response objects will not be recycled until the asynchronous context has been completed. Despite my finding no place where the context would be completed prematurely or erroneously, it was being completed:

fixed the issue. Will look into that further OK, got it working.
The problem was that I was using msbuild automation to package up the files that I needed to deploy, and I was missing global.asax.

this one helps. You have no "Default" route in your RegisterRoutes method and your first request WILL NOT match the route you do have as you have specifically specified the controller request .... this is normal and expected behaviour based on your configuration:
code :
public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes) {
                   "{controller}/{firstname}",  // change this line from "Employee" to {controller}
                    new {controller = "Employee", action = "Show", firstname = "" });

around this issue Once you received the HTTP request, parsed the HTTP Post Data using the "Parse XML" activity, I really advice you to use a "Mapper" to map your input (received and parsed as an XML) to a XML output schema. This output can easily be returned after.
For example,
No response from HttpServlet with AsyncContext

seems to work fine The problem:
I tried your code and there was a java.lang.NullPointerException in:

help you fix your problem Yes, this is the directive you are looking for, and I agree - the official documentation is a bit hard to grasp on.
Here is how an endpoint with logRequestResult would look like:
code :
    val requestHandler: Route = logRequestResult("req/resp", Logging.InfoLevel) {
        handleExceptions(errorHandler) {

    def start()(implicit actorSystem: ActorSystem,
                actorMaterializer: ActorMaterializer): Future[Http.ServerBinding] =
            handler = requestHandler,
            interface = host,
            port = port)

[your-actor-system-akka.actor.default-dispatcher-19] INFO  akka.actor.ActorSystemImpl - req/resp: Response for
  Request : HttpRequest(HttpMethod(GET),http://<host>/<path>,List(Host: <host>, Connection: close: <function1>),HttpEntity.Strict(none/none,ByteString()),HttpProtocol(HTTP/1.1))
  Response: Complete(HttpResponse(200 OK,List(),HttpEntity.Strict(text/plain; charset=UTF-8,OK),HttpProtocol(HTTP/1.1)))
