Simple interaction between Javascript and PHP

hop of those help? You can post the url in an AJAX request to the PHP file with jQuery. The content of the PHP file will then be sent back to the script and passed into the AJAX handlers callback as an argument, named here data. jQuery can also be used to write the data onto the page with $('element').html(data);
webpage_parser.php
code :
<?php
    require 'simple_html_dom_utility.php';

    if(!$_POST['url']) {
        $url = "http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun";
    }
    else {
        $url = $_POST['url'];
    }

    $html = file_get_html($url);
?>
<div>
    <?php echo $html; ?>
</div>
<html>
<head>
<title> Ajax example </title>
<script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-2.1.3.min.js"></script>
<script>
    links = ["http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon", "http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star",
         "http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planet", "http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun"];
    var k = 0;

    setInterval(function(){
         $.post("webpage_parser.php", { url: links[k] }, function(data,status){
             if(!data) {
                console.log(status)
             }
             else {
                 $('#content').html(data);
             }
         });
        if(k < links.length) {
            k++;
        }
        else {
            k = 0;
        }
    }, 5000);
</script>

Simple Canvas Rectangle Interaction with Javascript

Simple Canvas Rectangle Interaction with Javascript

I wish this help you I tried this and it works. First you need to put the requestAnimationFrame calls into the if condition because otherwise you will run into endless loops. On the other hand when contracting the canvas you need to use clearRect instead of fillRect.
code :
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
    <script>
        window.requestAnimationFrame = (function(){
            return  window.requestAnimationFrame       ||
                    window.webkitRequestAnimationFrame ||
                    window.mozRequestAnimationFrame    ||
                    function( callback ){
                        window.setTimeout(callback, 1000 / 60);
                    };
        })();

        var rectWidth = 100;

        function widenRect(){
            var c=document.getElementById("myCanvas");
            var ctx=c.getContext("2d");
            ctx.fillStyle="#92B901";
            ctx.fillRect(0,0,rectWidth,100);
            if(rectWidth <= 200){
                rectWidth+=10;
                requestAnimationFrame(widenRect);
            }
        }

        function narrowRect(){
            var c=document.getElementById("myCanvas");
            var ctx=c.getContext("2d");
            ctx.fillStyle="#92B901";
            ctx.clearRect(rectWidth,0,200 - rectWidth,100);
            if(rectWidth > 100){
                rectWidth-=10;
                requestAnimationFrame(narrowRect);
            }
        }
    </script>
</head>
<body>
<canvas id="myCanvas" width="200" height="100" onmouseover="widenRect()" onmouseout="narrowRect()">
    Your browser does not support the HTML5 canvas tag.
    <script>
        var c=document.getElementById("myCanvas");
        var ctx=c.getContext("2d");
        ctx.fillStyle="#92B901";
        ctx.fillRect(0,0,rectWidth,100);
    </script>
</canvas>
</body>
</html>

will help you So I have two instances (which are both symbols) one named: mChar and one named b1 When the two touch I would like to be taken to another frame. , Maybe hitTestObject the two symbols? Something like
code :
addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, transition);
function transition(e:Event)
{
  if (mChar.hitTestObject(b1))
  {
    gotoAndStop("new frame")
  }

it fixes the issue If you are familiar with JQuery then D3 should have a friendly feel to it, as it shares a similar API. Specifically in regards to .on(action, fn) syntax for attaching an event listener to a DOM selection.
If you check out the jsFiddle I have created which implements a very basic implementation of what you are after then you can see this in motion in 21 lines of JS.
code :
(function() {
    var svg = d3.select('svg');

    function getRandom(min, max) {
      return Math.floor(Math.random() * (max - min) + min);
    }

    function drawCircle(x, y, size) {
        console.log('Drawing circle at', x, y, size);
        svg.append("circle")
            .attr('class', 'click-circle')
            .attr("cx", x)
            .attr("cy", y)
            .attr("r", size);
    }

    svg.on('click', function() {
        var coords = d3.mouse(this);
        console.log(coords);
        drawCircle(coords[0], coords[1], getRandom(5,50));
    });
})();

Hope that helps I'm just starting learning Racket-lang, and I want to write a simple program that reads from the terminal, does something with the input and responds. , The equivalent of that program in racket would be this:
code :
(for ([line (in-lines)])
  (displayln (some-function line)))
(for/list ([line (in-lines)])
  (some-function line))
(for/list ([line (in-lines)]
           #:break (string=? line "done"))
  (some-function line))
