like below fixes the issue This is going to be a pretty long answer, because there's a fair bit to say regarding your question. First, some nits about the C code in your VCL:
Implementing strtolower is probably unnecessary; the standard vmod has a std.tolower function. If you are running Varnish 3, you should use this instead. (That said, the existence of this seems to imply you might be using Varnish 2, so who knows?) Your call to VRT_SetHdr seems unnecessary. I don't see any difference between that and set bereq.http.X-Varnish-TeraWurfl = "no1";
code :
set req.url = req.url + "/"
VRT_l_req_url(sp, VRT_r_req_url(sp), "/", vrt_magic_string_end);
strtolower((char *)VRT_r_req_url(sp));
sub detectmobile {
    VRT_SetHdr(sp, HDR_BEREQ, "\020X-Varnish-TeraWurfl:", "no1", vrt_magic_string_end);
log req.url + " " + req.http.Wookies + "ha!"
VRT_log(sp, VRT_r_req_url(sp), " ", VRT_GetHdr(sp, HDR_REQ, "\10Wookies:"), "ha!", vrt_magic_string_end);
#include <ctype.h>
static void
strtolower(char *c)
  while (*c != '\0) {
    *c++ = tolower(*c);
  #include <ctype.h>
  static void
  strtolower(const char *c, char *obuf)
    while (*c != '\0') {
      *obuf++ = tolower(*c++);
    *obuf = '\0';

if (req.url ~ "[A-Z]") {
    const char *url = VRT_r_req_url(sp);
    size_t urllen = strlen(url) + 1;
    char obuf[urllen];

    strtolower(url, obuf, urllen);
    VRT_l_req_url(sp, obuf, vrt_magic_str_end);

help you fix your problem I have 2 environments variables : , I've managed to parse my vcl
code :
backend front1 {
    .host = ${FRONT1_PORT_8080_TCP_ADDR};

for env in $envs
    IFS== read name value <<< "$env"

    sed -i "s|\${${name}}|${value}|g" /etc/varnish/default.vcl

I hope this helps you . You can conditionally rewrite the Host header in the vcl_recv section of your Varnish configuration. You will need a way to identify which URLs are for static content. Here is an example; the specific regular expressions will depend on how your site is structured.
code :
sub vcl_recv {
    # Normalize Host if URL is one of:
    #     /css/*   /js/*   /favicon*
    if (req.http.Host ~ "^u-\w+\.example\.org$" &&
        req.url ~ "^/(css/|js/|favicon)")
        set req.http.Host = "u-xxxxxxxxx.example.org";

it should still fix some issue I have installed varnish and fallowed the exact instruction for setting it up, however, it is not working as expected. , Ok. Problem solved. First do
code :
sudo grep -R 'ExecStart=/usr/sbin/varnishd' /etc/
-a :[same as /etc/default/varnish]80 -T localhost:[same as /etc/default/varnish]1234 -f [same as /etc/default/varnish ]/etc/varnish/default.vcl -S [same as /etc/default/varnish ]/etc/varnish/secret -s malloc,256m
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl restart varnish.service

around this issue How do I pass variables across subroutines? , You simply need to use the req object during vcl_deliver:
code :
vcl 4.0;

sub vcl_recv {
     set req.http.x-tracking-first-request = "true";

sub vcl_deliver {
    if (req.http.x-tracking-first-request) {
       # do something
