Backbone router with no hashbangs

Backbone router with no hashbangs

I hope this helps . When you use push state, pages are served from the back end, which means that you have to define a corresponding route in your back end that corresponds to a front end route.
If the back end doesn't find the requested route, then it will deliver a 404 message, because it won't know what to serve. In your case, the episodes view gets triggered at the front end level, but the browser doesn't have a DOM to render the view when the page gets refreshed because nothing was served.

this will help Backbone actually just uses a hash and not a hashbang. However if you enable pushState than on modern browsers (pretty much anything other than IE) there will be no hash at all.

hop of those help? Backbone has something like this already built in that you could use (from Backbone source):
code :
  // Allow the `Backbone` object to serve as a global event bus, for folks who
  // want global "pubsub" in a convenient place.
  _.extend(Backbone, Events);
this.listenTo(Backbone, 'something', this.someMethod);

wish of those help If you are not using pushState, then the backbones routes are easy to differentiate from the server routes:
/route1 /route2 /route1#route/a /route1#route/b
code :
//F3 routing
$f3->route('GET /route1',…)
$f3->route('GET /route2',…)

//Backbone routing
routes: {
  "route/a": "routeA",
  "route/b": "routeB",
userModel = Backbone.Model.extend({
  urlRoot: '/user'
var user=new userModel({id:123});
user.fetch();// GET /user/123
user.save();// PUT /user/123
user.destroy();// DELETE /user/123
class User {
  function get($f3,$args){…}
  function put($f3,$args){…}
  function delete($f3,$args){…}

will help you You're using pushState according to your url, so you've got 2 main options:
stop using pushState when starting Backbone history (which would be the equivalent of using a hashbang, except for SEO) have your server return a page for every URL your app generates (it can be the same exact page)
