I wish this helpful for you I have a problem with SQLite in Android and keyword WHERE. , Replace your queries with these
code :
sql = "SELECT " + COLUMN_WORD + ", " + COLUMN_CODE + " FROM " + TABLE_WORDS + " WHERE " + COLUMN_CODE + "='" + code + "';";
sql = "SELECT " + COLUMN_WORD + ", "+ COLUMN_CODE + " FROM " + TABLE_WORDS + " LIMIT 10;";
 while(!cursor.isAfterLast()){
    word = cursor.getString( cursor.getColumnIndex( COLUMN_WORD ) );
    list.add( word );

    Log.i("---TEXT---",  "-->"+cursor.getString( cursor.getColumnIndex( COLUMN_WORD ) )+"<---->" + cursor.getString( cursor.getColumnIndex( COLUMN_CODE ) ) + "<--" );
    cursor.moveToNext();
}

Any of those help I have searched the docs and SO and could not find anything to resolve my issue. I am trying to call a select from my sqlite database and add it to a dictionary with the columns as keys. When I do this it returns a row for each column/key. It is has 14 columns and if I only have 4 rows it repeats for each one. This was the first attempt , You are creating your dictionary incorrectly. Use:
code :
for row in r:
    summary = dict(zip(columns, row))
    results.append(summary)

wish help you to fix your issue I noticed two errors:
You're retrieving only a tweet Some keys of the dict are misspelled (Python is not case insensitive)
code :
import json
import urllib2
#Read file and print a line
webFD = urllib2.urlopen("http://rasinsrv07.cstcis.cti.depaul.edu/CSC455/assignment4.txt")
tweets = webFD.readlines()

for tweet in tweets:
    print tweet

    #create dictionary
    try:
        dictt = json.loads(tweet)
    except ValueError:
        continue

    #print dictionary
    print dictt.keys()

    #print values
    print dictt.values()

    #loop through tweets
    for (key, value) in dictt.items():
        print key, '->', value

    #Created the DB
    import sqlite3

    conn = sqlite3.connect('twitter.db')
    c = conn.cursor()

    #Created the table for the tweets
    c.execute("CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS Tweet(created_at, id, text, source, in_reply_to_user_ID,retweet_Count)")

    #*** Here is a possible solution ***
    c.execute('INSERT INTO Tweet VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)',
          (dictt['created_at'], dictt["id"], dictt["text"], dictt['source'], dictt['in_reply_to_user_id'],
           dictt['retweet_count']))
    conn.commit()
    conn.close()

I think the issue was by ths following , sqlite3_column_blob will gives you NSDictionary in the form of NSData:
code :
NSUInteger blobLength = sqlite3_column_bytes(statement, colNo);
NSData *data = [NSData dataWithBytes:sqlite3_column_blob(statement, colNo) length:blobLength];
NSDictionary *dictionary=[NSJSONSerialization
       JSONObjectWithData: data
                  options:NSJSONReadingMutableLeaves
                    error:nil];

help you fix your problem If I were you I'd write an interface containing all methods required to store and retrieve this information, then create an implementation of that interface that is most straightforward to write.
Once you find that this part of your application is the bottleneck, replace the implementation of the interface with a faster one.

I hope this helps you . One approach: convert the dictionary to a string (perhaps json.dumps) then insert the row.
SQLite will not be fussed that bid and ask are defined as REAL, since it uses manifest typing.
