Java array definitions

seems to work fine Split the definition of each variable per line and then you will realize how each operation compiles (or not):
code :
int[] array1;
int[] array2[]; //which is int[][] array2
int[][] array3;
int[] array4[]; //which is int[][] array4
int[] array5[]; //which is int[][] array5
A. array2 = array3; //compiles
B. array2 = array4; //compiles
C. array1 = array2; //doesn't compile
D. array4 = array1; //doesn't compile
E. array5 = array3; //compiles

I wish this helpful for you You can define [Event] metadata in interfaces for informational purposes, but unlike functions, you cannot enforce that implementations use those events. In my experience, you must re-define the events in the implementation classes.

Hope this helps Question 7 is answered incorrectly. Arrays are objects.

Any of those help This sounds like a good approach if you want strict control over how the JSON is to be deserialized to a concrete Java object e.g. Parameter
Alternatively, Java project A and project B would have their "local" versions of Parameter with only the fields from the JSON that the project actually needs.

I hope this helps you . APIM does not support inlined schema. Try specifying schemas for response/request via $ref only, even if it's an array of object you've already defined - define a new object of type array and reference it.
So, instead of something like this:
code :
"200": {
    "description": "Success",
    "schema": {
        "uniqueItems": false,
        "type": "array",
        "items": {
            "$ref": "#/definitions/SwaggerGenerationSample.Models.Response.Employee"
        }
    }
}
"200": {
    "description": "Success",
    "schema": {
        "$ref": "#/definitions/EmployeeArray"
    }
}
...
"definitions": {
    "EmployeeArray": {
        "uniqueItems": false,
        "type": "array",
        "items": {
            "$ref": "#/definitions/SwaggerGenerationSample.Models.Response.Employee"
        }
    }
}

Creating a dictionary with multiple definitions for each word with CRUD functionality for both words and definitions

I hope this helps you . Using ruby and sinatra, I need a children's learning dictionary where kids can pick words they want to use, be able to add and delete words, and have multiple definitions for each word that , again, they can add, update and delete. , I suggest you write your class as follows.
code :
class Words
  @words = {}
  # @words is a class instance variable, generally a better choice than a class
  # variable because it cannot be seen from subclasses. It is a hash, with keys
  # being words and values being the associated instances of this class.

  singleton_class.public_send(:attr_reader, :words)
  # This creates a read accessor for the class instance variable @words.

  attr_reader :definitions
  # this creates a read accessor for @definitions, which returns an array
  # of one or more definitions that have been given for the word.

  def initialize(word)
    @definitions = []
    self.class.words[word] = self
    # self.class => Words, Word.words is the hash of words and their instances.
    # The key-value pair `word=>self` is being added to that hash.
  end

  def add_definition(definition)
    @definitions << definition
  end

  def self.remove_definition(word)
    words.delete(word)
  end
  # This is a class method used to remove words from the dictionary.

end
word = Words.new("bridle")
  #=> #<Words:0x00005d1850124740 @word="bridle", @definitions=[]>
word.add_definition "the headgear used to control a horse."
word.add_definition "show one's resentment or anger."
word.definitions
  #=> ["the headgear used to control a horse.",
  # "show one's resentment or anger."]
Words.words
  #=> {"bridle"=>#<Words:0x000059addb793410 @definitions=[
  # "the headgear used to control a horse.",
  #      "show one's resentment or anger."]>}
word = Words.new("cheesy")
  #=> #<Words:0x00005d18501a8dd8 @word="cheesy", @definitions=[]>
word.add_definition "like cheese in taste, smell, or consistency."
word.add_definition "cheap, unpleasant, or blatantly inauthentic."
word.definitions
  #=> ["like cheese in taste, smell, or consistency.",
  # "cheap, unpleasant, or blatantly inauthentic."]
Words.words
  #=> {"bridle"=>#<Words:0x000059addb793410 @definitions=[
  # "the headgear used to control a horse.",
  #      "show one's resentment or anger."]>,
  #      "cheesy"=>#<Words:0x000059addb527be0 @definitions=[
  # "like cheese in taste, smell, or consistency.",
  #        "cheap, unpleasant, or blatantly inauthentic."]>}
Words.words.keys
  #=> ["bridle", "cheesy"]
Words.words["cheesy"].definitions
  #=> ["like cheese in taste, smell, or consistency.",
  # "cheap, unpleasant, or blatantly inauthentic."]
Words.remove_definition("bridle")
Words.words
  #=> {"cheesy"=>#<Words:0x000059addb527be0 @definitions=[
  # "like cheese in taste, smell, or consistency.",
  #      "cheap, unpleasant, or blatantly inauthentic."]>}
