wish helps you Your question is unclear, but definitely its a UserControl and not a ASP.Net Textbox. So you can disable the textbox inside your UC like this:-
Approach 1 (Preferred):
code :
public bool DisableMyTextbox
{
   set { tbTextArea.Enabled = value; }
}
TextBox txt1 = (TextBox)SimpleUserControl1.FindControl("tbTextArea");
txt1.Enabled = false;

Hope this helps A button has a Command property. You should use that instead of the Click event by binding to an ICommand exposed by your ViewModel.

I hope this helps . The problem is that we can't use RadAjaxManager's OnResponseEnd client event as it not raised when you ajaxifying user controls. Here is an link from Telerik's forum: ajax panel ClientEvents-OnRequestStart wont fire. But you can enforce RadAjaxManager to call some client-side script after response returned to client: ResponseScripts Property. So all that you need it's to place another JavaScript function onto the page to apply DataTables plugin if you don't have one yet and instruct the RadAjaxManager to call this function after refreshing Results control.
code :
void UcSearch_DoSearch(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
    // your code to update UcResults control

    RadAjaxManager1.ResponseScripts.Add("initDataTable();");
}

I wish did fix the issue. You can take a similar approach to your text box but declare a public method which takes the textbox name as a parameter and then returns it like this:
In your ASCX:
code :
public TextBox GetDynamicTextBoxByID(string textBoxId)
{
  return (TextBox)Page.FindControl(textBoxId);
}
foreach (RepeaterItem itm in rptAttribute.Items)
{
 MyUserControl uc = ((MyUserControlitemUserControl)itm.FindControl("MyContorlName"));
 string  test = uc.MyString;
 TextBox tx = uc.GetDynamicTextBoxByID(idOfTextBox);
}

this one helps. This issue is concerning C# WinForms ... I have custom user control which basically has 3 things: A label, a text box, and a list box, all arranged vertically like this: , Write a SizeChanged of the User Control event like so:
code :
private void UserControl1_SizeChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
        textBox1.Left = Width / 2 - textBox1.Width / 2;
        textBox1.Top = Height / 2 - textBox1.Height / 2;
    }
