it should still fix some issue Exactly what you need to do to host it with a specific WSGI hosting mechanism varies with the server.
For the case of Apache/mod_wsgi and Phusion Passenger, you just need to provide a WSGI script file which contains an object called 'application'. For web.py 0.2, this is the result of calling web.wsgifunc() with appropriate arguments. For web.py 0.3, you instead use wsgifunc() member function of object returned by web.application(). For details of these see mod_wsgi documentation:

it fixes the issue I have built a commercial product that is distributed over the Internet using ClickOnce. It is distributed from a single server, though, not multiple servers as in your scenario.
I'd say that what you want to do can be done. The problem is that the application will need to know which branch server to check for updates, and the manifest will have to have the deployment URL (on the local branch server) embedded in it. It therefore seems that you'll have to do a separate build for each branch server. It is probably easy to automate using MSBuild, but I have no experience with that.

should help you out The answer is called configuration management. To have a local development machine that is the same as your production machine means you have to be able reproduce the configuration of the machine. Vagrant comes with good support for the two common tools Chef and Puppet (but with som small hacks it should be possible to use any others). This means all your configuration of the vagrant machine should be done through instructions with your configuration management tool, and then the same instructions can be run against your production machines. It may sound like a lot of work but there are lots of readymade well-written recipes for common software that just needs a bit of tweaking for your taste.
You know you have a reproducible development environment if you can do a vagrant destroy followed by a vagrant up and end up with the same configuration. This is the first step to be able to reproduce it onto your production environment.

While deploying any web-app,What is the Role of JDK in application servers?

may help you . JDK contains the JRE which is the runtime environment for your java programs. When you are deploying a web application (say in a production box) it would most likely contain pre-compile JSPs so in reality you do not need a JDK even for your jsp based application, but in case your JSPs are not pre-compiled (e.g. in a development/test environment), then you would need a compiler which comes in JDK only.
Assuming that you just have a JAR file (and obviously it contains only class files), you would need only JRE to run this, not the JDK.
