C# initialize variable after checking a condition

C# initialize variable after checking a condition

Hope that helps I need to use a variable initialized only after checking a condition. , Simply set it to null to make sure it is initialized at all:
code :
Web web = null;
if (web != null){
    web.Dispose();
}

hope this fix your issue Why am I not able to initialize a condition variable in a struct? I want each node to have a condition variable so I can wait and signal it, and when I add the initialization code it throws this error: expected ‘:’, ‘,’, ‘;’, ‘}’ or ‘attribute’ before ‘=’ token make: * [trie.o] Error 1 , To initialize when you define a struct trie_node object, use:
code :
struct trie_node x = { …, PTHREAD_COND_INTIALIZER, … };
x.condition = (pthread_cond_t) PTHREAD_COND_INITIALIZER;
Initialize variable and change it later in if condition

fixed the issue. Will look into that further You could initialise let1 to some arbitrary value when you declare it.
code :
char let1 = ' ',let2,let3,let4;
if(av1<=50)
    let1='F';
else if(av1>=60 && av1<=69)
    let1='D';
/* Your other statements here */
else
    let1 = 'A';

I wish did fix the issue. I'm writing a Java program to simulate the A* algorithm, and need to pass to my a() function two parameters, initial state and goal state. However, to ensure I have the correct goal state, I check to see if it's heuristic value is 0. If it is, then I mark boolean goal == true else I mark it false. , I think you want something like this:
code :
for(int i = 0; i < states.size(); i++) {
        if(map.get(i).isGoal()){
            //instantiate wherever you want if goal is true
            map.get(i).setGoal();
        } else {
            //instantiate wherever you want if goal is false
        }
    }

Hope this helps I would just outsource your work to Boost.Variant:
code :
struct S {
    S(const S&) = default;
    boost::variant<double, std::vector<int> > v;
};
struct DoubleOrVector {
    bool is_double;
    static constexpr std::size_t alignment_value = std::max(alignof(double), alignof(std::vector));

    alignas(alignment_value) char storage[std::max(sizeof(double), sizeof(std::vector))];

    DoubleOrVector(double v)
        : is_double(true)
    {
        new (storage) double(v);
    }

    // similar for vector

    DoubleOrVector(const DoubleOrVector& dov)
        : is_double(dov.is_double)
    {
        if (is_double) {
            new (storage) double(dov.asDouble());
        }
        else {
            new (storage) std::vector<int>(dov.asVector());
        }
    }

    double& asDouble() {
        assert(is_double);
        return *reinterpret_cast<double*>(storage);
    }

    std::vector<int>& asVector() {
        assert(!is_double);
        return *reinterpret_cast<std::vector<int>*>(storage);
    }

    // plus other functions here
    // remember to explicitly call ~vector() when we need to
};
struct S {
    S(const S&) = default;
    DoubleOrVector v;
};

this will help I am currently trying to figure out how to initialize variables based on conditions. So this is the current code that I want to modify: , You can use the ternary or conditional operator. The basic form is:
code :
condition ? valueIfTrue : valueIfFalse
const char* x = (SomeFunction() == 0) ? "is null" : "is not null";
