should help you out If you need to get to the same loandoc page with another value (after slash?), maybe you can try this:
code :
<select name="DocSelect" onchange="window.location=this.value">
@foreach (var x in Model.ListOfDocs)
{
   <option value="@x.DocumentSetId">@x.DocumentSetName</option>
}
</select>

To fix the issue you can do You can have several different approaches for creating a drop-down, I wouldn't say there is a definitive "right" and "wrong" way to do so. That being said the code you currently have can be cleaned up and simplified to:
code :
$(document).ready(function(){
  $('#list-parent').hide();

  $('#title').click(function(){
    $("#list-parent").slideToggle();
  });
});
  <h3 class=drop>Click</h3>
  <ul class=list-parent >
    <li class=element >element</li>
    <li class=element >
      <div class=drop>Click</div>
      <ul class=list-parent >
        <li class=element >element</li>
        <li class=element >element</li>
      </ul>
    </li>
    <li class=element >element</li>
  </ul>
$('.list-parent').hide();

$('.drop').click(function(e){
   e.stopPropagation();
   $(this).next().slideToggle();
});

With these it helps No need to start thread or like that you can simple call method on button click. and than set than bitmap inside imageview or whatever you want for use that bitmap.
volatile boolean flag = true;
code :
public void run()
{
while(flag)
    {
   // Do your task of calling method of screenshot
    try{
        Thread.Sleep(interval);
    } catch(Exception e){

        }

    }
}
public Bitmap takeScreenShot(View view) {

// configuramos para que la view almacene la cache en una imagen
view.setDrawingCacheEnabled(true);
view.setDrawingCacheQuality(View.DRAWING_CACHE_QUALITY_LOW);
view.buildDrawingCache();

if(view.getDrawingCache() == null) return null; // Verificamos antes de que no sea null

// utilizamos esa cache, para crear el bitmap que tendra la imagen de la view actual
Bitmap snapshot = Bitmap.createBitmap(view.getDrawingCache());
view.setDrawingCacheEnabled(false);
view.destroyDrawingCache();

return snapshot;
}

should help you out As I said in the question, I'm having a hard time taking the active element in a drop down list. , Solved:
I had to move these 2 variables into the button code
code :
var e = document.getElementById("statusSelect");
var strUser = e.options[e.selectedIndex].value;
