Hope this helps You can use os.system to send commands to the shell; 'cls' will clear the screen in Windows. See: before and after.
(If you're not using it in the interactive console, the 0 return value will just be thrown away.)

like below fixes the issue The following sequence of commands does remove every name from the current module:
code :
>>> import sys
>>> sys.modules[__name__].__dict__.clear()
>>> import sys
>>> this = sys.modules[__name__]
>>> for n in dir():
...   if n[0]!='_': delattr(this, n)
...
>>>
>>> dir()
['__builtins__', '__doc__', '__name__', '__package__', 'n']

code :
import os
os.system('cls' if os.name == 'nt' else 'clear')

Any of those help This is a pretty old question at this point. Anyway I tried your code and it looks like you've got an infinite loop.
popBackStack(null, 0) searches for a fragment with a null tag, which will never be found. The while loop will cycle until memory runs out. The other issue with popBackStack is that the pop is not necessarily immediately performed so the while loop could run for a while.
