How to change a value in a Task

How to change a value in a Task

like below fixes the issue You can't change a task's value, you need to create a new one. The async way of doing it is awaiting the original result and marking the method as async (that's only the case when you need the result of the original task):
code :
private async Task<string> GetPageText(string url)
{
    var result = await GetDataAsync(url);
    return result + "bar";
}

it fixes the issue you cant say that to SSIS, you must implement it with precedence constraints. Example: lets say you have tasks A -> B -> C -> D and you don't want C to execute if B fails, you can do this:
be aware the dotted lines, you need to set the precedence to OR otherwise D would only execute if B both succeeds and fail, which is not possible

this will help After changing button label you should run QApplication::processEvents() to update UI with new label.
Notice that your UI will be freezed while long task is running. To avoid this you should sometimes call QApplication::processEvents() during long operation or run this operation in separate QThread.

may help you . parentTaskKey is set based on what kind of task was run and what object it was run on. You can probably set it if you create a task, but for a running task you cannot change that property.
"Need not be set" means that the value can be NULL and it is not required.

it helps some times You're checking the result from the x Task, which is the Task that can be either the same as t or the result of Task.Delay(TimeSpan.FromSeconds(3)) (provided you await it). You should be able to get the Result from t instead:
code :
Task<string[]> t = new Task<string[]>(() => grabber.grab(link));
// ^^^^^^^^ also defining what the t.Result should contain

var x = await Task.WhenAny(t, Task.Delay(TimeSpan.FromSeconds(3)));
if (x == t){ // make sure that Task.WhenAny returned the t Task
{
    string[] result = t.Result; // get t's Result, not x
    foreach (string item in result)
    {
        list.Add(item);
    }
}

wish help you to fix your issue In order to modify "the status, dates, or note of a task", how about using the patch method of Tasks API?
In order to use the sample script, before you run the script, please enable Tasks API at Advanced Google Services and API console. Please confirm it at here.
code :
var tasklistId = "###";
var taskId = "###";
var resource = {
  status: "completed", // This is either "needsAction" or "completed"
  due: "2019-04-15T00:00:00Z", // Due date of the task (as a RFC 3339 timestamp).
  notes: "sample note",
}
var res = Tasks.Tasks.patch(resource, tasklistId, taskId);
var resource = {
  status: "needsAction",
  completed: null,
};
Tasks.Tasks.patch(resource, tasklistId, taskId);
