PHP probletm with appending new property into object?

PHP probletm with appending new property into object?

I wish this helpful for you I got it to work, But the problem was not with the code. It seems that the column in the table that i was reading has collation set to ' utf8_general_ci ' not sure what that means. But when i removed that setting , it all worked as expected. But i feel the collation is not the actual underlying reason. So i will keep this question open in hopes some might provide an explanation.
It seems i was looking for the wrong issues. Reading up on collation i found that some character sets are not supported fully , so i tried to echo the contents of the object array instead of json_encode and found it printed.

will help you Okay, well I have confirmation that it was the DivX (not RealPlayer; no idea why I mixed them up) Plugin causing the problem. The plugin overwrites some of the core DOM functionality, including appendChild, which seems insane to me, but whatever. DivX acknowledged the bug and are apparently going to fix it in the next update. Yay, I guess.

hope this fix your issue I am trying to add a property to an object, but Dot notation can't handle a string. , No need for eval.. and blah is undefined in your example.
code :
var lists = {
  "Cars":{"Ford":false,"Ferarri":false},
  "Names":{"John":true,"Harry":false},
  "Homework":{"Maths":true,"Science":false,"History":true,"English":true}
}

function add_item(key, value) {
  lists.Cars[key] = value;
}

add_item('Alfa Romeo', true);

console.log(lists);
Appending to list property of persisted realm object?

This might help you 'Appending' an object to a Realm List counts as 'adding' a new copy of that object to the database. If another object already exists in the database with the same primary key; this will throw an exception. It will be necessary to query for that previously existing specific object instead of creating a new object with the same primary key (Which is what your JSON parser is doing).
It's possible to easily check if an object with a specific primary key already exists using the Realm().object(ofType:forPrimaryKey:) method. In this case, it would be more appropriate to use that method to first query that an object with that key exists, and if it does, use that one, instead of the one generated by JSON.

Any of those help Generally, I try and avoid doing things like (object)array(...) and json_decode(json_encode()) in PHP as it is not immediately clear to the reader why your doing this round about stuff, so I will provide an alternative answer.
code :
 function addNewProp(array $users, $propName, $propVal)
 {
    for ($i = 0; $i < count($users); $i++) {
        // You may need to do extra checking here if profile and type are not required.
        if (isset($users[$i]->profile->type->admin)) {
            $users[$i]->profile->$propName = $propVal;
        }
    }
    return $users;
 }
