To fix the issue you can do Considering no access violation, exp is a char pointer, exp[i] is the value of the i+ith char element.
Next, the value of exp[i] is used for condition checking. i.e, 0 for false, non-zero for true.

around this issue The program is wrong as it overflows a signed int, which is undefined behavior in C. In some environments it will result in an endless loop, but many compilers implement signed overflow the same way they implement unsigned overflow.
In case signed overflow is implementd like unsigned overflow, at some point i will become too big to fit into a short and will wrap around and become 0 - which will break the loop. Basically USHRT_MAX + 1 yields 0.

will be helpful for those in need I believe he is indicating that he wrote the code that way on purpose.
To answer, i++ will always return true. The last value is the value that matters with comma separated statements, so the loop will not stop.
code :
x = 4, 5, 6;

help you fix your problem Only the last one is tested (or that's how it seems) because you never stop the loop. So naturally, it continues till the end and complete is the last value set.
If you want to stop when setting it to false, then use break or even return since it seems you're done at that point.
code :
function checking(){
  for(var i = 1; i < 51; i++){
    if(i != document.getElementById(i).className) {
       document.getElementById('50').src = '../images/X.gif';
       complete = false;

  document.getElementById('50').src = '../images/Y.jpg';
  complete = true;
function checking(){
  for(var i = 1; i < 51; i++){
    if(i != document.getElementById(i).className) {
       document.getElementById('50').src = '../images/X.gif';
       return false;

  document.getElementById('50').src = '../images/Y.jpg';
  return true;

var complete = checking();
var sel = "#" + Array.apply(null, 50).map(function(_, i) { return i+1; }).join(",#");

var complete = [].every.call(document.querySelectorAll(sel), function(el) {
    return el.id === el.className;

document.getElementById('50').src = '../images/' + (complete ? 'Y.jpg' : 'X.jpg');

wish of those help Because the expression A[i]==5 is false when i is 0. True and false is false, so the loop never runs.
Why isn't there any condition checking in the following for loop?

will help you The loop terminates whenever the condition expression evaluates to 0. If for instance you see an expression like i < 3, you can think of it as (i < 3) != 0. So in this case, it's isspace(s[i]) != 0 meaning it terminates at the first character that is not a space.
