Does that help You want to use $new->importNode... rather than $doc->importNode... as $new is the document you're trying to add the node to.

Importing node modules from root directory using es6 and babel-node

Importing node modules from root directory using es6 and babel-node

wish helps you Like (almost) any tool '/x' means 'x' in the root of your filesystem. Babel doesn't actually look at the paths, it just compiles
code :
import {myFunc} from '/my-module';
var _myModule = require('/my-module');
import {a} from '~my-module';
import {b} from '/my-module';
import {c} from './my-module';
module.exports = function (babel) {
  // get the working directory
  var cwd = process.cwd();

  return new babel.Transformer("babel-plugin-project-relative-require", {
    ImportDeclaration: function(node, parent) {
      // probably always true, but let's be safe
      if (!babel.types.isLiteral(node.source)) {
        return node;
      }

      var ref = node.source.value;

      // ensure a value, make sure it's not home relative e.g. ~/foo
      if (!ref || ref[0] !== '~' || ref[1] === '/') {
        return node;
      }

      node.source.value = cwd + '/' + node.source.value.slice(1);

      return node;
    }
  });
};
{
    "plugins": [
        "./scripts/babel-plugin-project-relative-require.js"
    ]
}
'use strict';

var _tmpMyModule = require('/tmp/my-module');

var _myModule = require('/my-module');

var _myModule2 = require('./my-module');
Node not taking id when importing from template

Node not taking id when importing from template

To fix this issue node here is the content of the template, it's not an actual HTML node, it's a DOCUMENT_FRAGMENT_NODE so it can't have an id.
But you can apply this id to the first element (the div here) contained inside using firstElementChild :
code :
let template = document.getElementById("template-wide-image"),
    node = document.importNode(template.content, true),
    myId = "mouhaha";

node.firstElementChild.id = myId;
console.log(node.firstElementChild);

document.getElementById("article").appendChild(node); // shows on screen as expected
console.log(document.getElementById(myId));
<div id="article"></div>
<template id="template-wide-image">
  <div class="article-wide-image droppable">
    <img src="" alt="Drop image here" class="droppable">
  </div>
</template>
Exporting and importing in Node express

this one helps. In your .js file, you can export whatever functions you would like to use in other parts of your code base. The below is an example of what should go at the bottom of your .js file. It will export the 3 functions you defined.
code :
module.exports = {
    findByEmail,
    updateUser,
    deleteUser
}
const commonMethods = require('./commonMethods.js')

around this issue Yes this is possible. A function definition is hoisted, declared, and assigned. If you define another in the same scope after the previous one, the new definition will now overwrite the original.
Identifiers used in function statements/definitions are not constants and are therefore subject to re-assignment. If you want it to remain static after creation you can do const getUserCustomData = function () { ... } instead and the second attempt to re-assign will throw an error for you.

Importing installed node modules vs importing css or other files in React

I hope this helps . Installed Node Modules can be imported without specifying the path.
App.css is not a node module and therefore the path needs to be specified
