will be helpful for those in need Since the post method of the Http class returns an observable you need to subscribe it to execute its initialization processing. Observables are lazy.
You should have a look at this video for more details:

Any of those help I found the source of the problem. It was my own fault. I had a code somewhere that clears the cache after the state change. There is no problem with default angular $http cache.

code :
.map(response => response.json())
.flatMap(response => this.http.get(...).map(response => response.json())
.subscribe(response => this.result = response);

I wish did fix the issue. I have to make three HTTP request in angular 2 and need to cache the response object on the application. , try like this :
code :
    .flatMap((one: Response) => {
        console.log('one Response', one);
        return this.http.get('http://www.example.com/two')
    .flatMap((two: Response) => {
        console.log('two Response', two);
        return this.http.get('http://www.example.com/three')
    .subscribe((three: Response) => {
        console.log('three Response', three);
).subscribe((responses) => {
    // responses[0] -> response of one
    // responses[1] -> response of two
    // responses[2] -> response of three

hope this fix your issue This simple class caches the result so you can subscribe to .value many times and makes only 1 request. You can also use .reload() to make new request and publish data.
You can use it like:
