wish help you to fix your issue So what's the problem? You have set up default timezone as local, so you are getting the answer from the database, which is relevant for your timezone, since
code :
Mon, 29 Dec 2014 23:15:19 UTC +00:00
Tue, 30 Dec 2014 00:15:35 UTC +00:00

hope this fix your issue Honestly, I don't know what's wrong. I'm using Flipclock javascript lib, and I'm trying to make a countdown to 15th January, 2015, 18:00 PM UTC. I tried many different approaches, and the one I currently have is which returns less numbers. , Months are numbered from zero, so the following
code :
var nDate = new Date(2015, 01, 15, 18);
> var nDate = new Date(2015, 0, 15, 18);
> var currentDate = new Date();
> var diff = (nDate.getTime() / 1000) - (currentDate.getTime() / 1000);
> diff / 24. / 3600.

fixed the issue. Will look into that further The question was edited to clarify there are no tables.
MySQL (to my knowledge) has no sequence generator, and in order to prevent a procedure here's a trick you can use to generate a list of dates.
code :
SELECT DATE(NOW() - INTERVAL n DAY) AS date,
       DAYNAME(NOW() - INTERVAL n DAY) AS day
  FROM (
    SELECT 0 n
    UNION SELECT 1
    UNION SELECT 2
    UNION SELECT 3
    UNION SELECT 4
    UNION SELECT 5
    UNION SELECT 6
  ) q
  ORDER BY day ASC
;
SELECT *
  FROM table
 WHERE field >= NOW() - INTERVAL 7 DAY;
date + INTERVAL expr unit
date - INTERVAL expo unit
mysql> SELECT '2008-12-31 23:59:59' + INTERVAL 1 SECOND;
    -> '2009-01-01 00:00:00'
mysql> SELECT INTERVAL 1 DAY + '2008-12-31';
    -> '2009-01-01'
mysql> SELECT '2005-01-01' - INTERVAL 1 SECOND;
    -> '2004-12-31 23:59:59'

wish helps you I have a SQL table of hits to my website called ExternalHits. I track the URL as URLx and the date the page was accessed as Datex. I run this query every week to get the count of total hits from the week before, and every week I have to manually change the "between" dates. Is there some way I can change my query so that the "between" dates are something like TODAY AND TODAY-7? Ijust want to not have to manually change the dates every week.
code :
declare @lastweek datetime
declare @now datetime
set @now = getdate()
set @lastweek = dateadd(day,-7,@now)

SELECT URLX, COUNT(URLx) AS Count
FROM ExternalHits
WHERE datex BETWEEN @lastweek AND @now
GROUP BY URLx
ORDER BY Count DESC;

Any of those help Data is in date/time format and I'm trying to get list of rows where the date is exatly in 30 days from today. This is based on SQL Server 2005. , To calculate today plus 30 days as a Date you can use:
code :
DateAdd( day, 30, Cast( GetDate() as Date ) )
where DateAdd( day, 30, Cast( GetDate() as Date ) ) <= DateTimeColumn and
  DateTimeColumn < DateAdd( day, 31, Cast( GetDate() as Date ) )
