Fragment.onCreateView called on configuration change?

Fragment.onCreateView called on configuration change?

With these it helps Fragments are being recreated because the savedInstanceState parameter includes information on the "previous" Fragments present in the Activity. Check the implementation for the onRetainNonConfigurationInstance() method (and its corresponding logic in onCreate()) in FragmentActivity and you'll see where this information is stored and reloaded.
As for the "font size" configuration change, it doesn't seem to be possible (or at least I didn't find a way) to handle it with android:configChanges. See this question.

I think the issue was by ths following , There a 3 ways to remove a Fragment from view:
Hide it (hide function on transaction object) Detach it (detach function on transaction object) Remove it (remove function on transaction object)

getSupportFragmentManager().beginTransaction().add(R.id.tab1, new Tab1Fragment()).commit();
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
  xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
  xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
  android:layout_width="match_parent"
  android:layout_height="match_parent"
  android:orientation="vertical"
  tools:context=".DeviceFragment" >

   <FrameLayout
    android:id="@+id/myContainer"
    ...(Other attrs)>
    </FrameLayout>

</RelativeLayout>
  if (savedInstanceState == null) {
        getSupportFragmentManager().beginTransaction().add(R.id.myContainer, new Tab1Fragment()).commit();

wish helps you The FragmentPagerAdapter keeps additional fragments, besides the one shown, in the resumed state.
If you want to initialize stuff in the fragment you should do it when OnCreate is called.

should help you out As a general rule, you use supportInvalidateOptionsMenu to trigger a refresh or some action on menuitems. All the updating work should be put inside onPrepareOptionsMenu(). In the case you want fragment to pull the trigger, first you can do something like this in activity level:
onCreateView fragment on tabhost called every time I change the tab

onCreateView fragment on tabhost called every time I change the tab
