it fixes the issue Here are a couple solutions. Number two is much better as it doesn't require needlessly duplicating your assemblies.
Solution 1 (okay)
Local RDLC Report showing '#Error' where report parameters should be displayed

I wish did fix the issue. The problem turned out to be that ReportViewer cannot have ReportParameters when using ProcessingMode.Local. Instead I changed my code to use a datasource instead of paramters.
code :
        Warning[] warnings;
        string mimeType;
        string[] streamids;
        string encoding;
        string filenameExtension;

        var viewer = new ReportViewer();
        viewer.ProcessingMode = ProcessingMode.Local;

        viewer.LocalReport.ReportPath = @"Labels\ShippingLabel.rdlc";
        viewer.LocalReport.EnableExternalImages = true;

        var shipLabel = new ShippingLabel { ShipmentId = shipment.ShipmentId, Barcode = GetBarcode(shipment.ShipmentId) };

        viewer.LocalReport.DataSources.Add(new ReportDataSource("ShippingLabel", new List<ShippingLabel> { shipLabel }));
        viewer.LocalReport.Refresh();

        var bytes = viewer.LocalReport.Render("PDF", null, out mimeType, out encoding, out filenameExtension, out streamids, out warnings);

will be helpful for those in need Option 1 - Using designer Open 'Add New Item' window by pressing Ctrl +Shift +A or from 'Project' menu choose 'Add New Item ...'. From the window, choose Report Wizard In 'Report Wizard' window, click 'New ...' button in front of 'Data source' combo box. Complete 'Data Source Configuration Wizard'. In first page choose Object and click Next button, then in the next page, from tree, find your business object and check the checkbox near it and click Finish button to close the data source configuration wizard. Complete the 'Report Wizard'. The business object will be selected as data source of the report, so follow the wizard by click on Next and then in 'Arrange Fields' page, add some files from 'Available fields' to 'Σ Values' list by drag and drop. the in next pages 'Choose the layout' and 'Choose a style' and click Finish. Open a Form and from the Toolbox put a Report Viewer control on the form. Open 'Report Viewer Tasks' by click on and then 'Choose Report' from combo box. Then a BindingSource will be added to the form.
Double click on Form to handle Load event and add this code to the event handler:
code :
var data = db.Students.ToList();
this.studentBindingSource.DataSource = data;
this.reportViewer1.RefreshReport();
var data = db.Students.ToList();
var reportDataSource1 = new Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ReportDataSource();
reportDataSource1.Name = "DataSet1";
reportDataSource1.Value = data;
this.reportViewer1.LocalReport.DataSources.Add(reportDataSource1);
this.reportViewer1.LocalReport.ReportEmbeddedResource = "ReportSample.Report1.rdlc";
this.reportViewer1.RefreshReport();

I wish this help you I have a report form "Form1ReportSale". On it's load event I want to generate RDLC report on the basis of an ID which comes from another form. When I put my program in debug mode, DataSet returns expected value but throws an error. , Check out the path that you have given:
code :
reportViewer1.LocalReport.ReportPath = @"E:\Working Area\Directorate Of IT Project\Own Practices\BikeShowRoom\BikeShowRoom\Reports\Form1ReportSale.cs";
reportViewer1.LocalReport.ReportPath = "~/Reports/Form1ReportSale.rdlc";
