wish of those help Find below php code to upload and crop image using GD library. You can save only one image name in database and other croped images will be access using the same name, but it should be stored in different-different directory as below:
code :
<?php
function createThumb($upfile, $dstfile, $max_width, $max_height){
   $size = getimagesize($upfile);
   $width = $size[0];
   $height = $size[1];
   $x_ratio = $max_width / $width;
   $y_ratio = $max_height / $height;
   if( ($width <= $max_width) && ($height <= $max_height)) {
           $tn_width = $width;
           $tn_height = $height;
   } elseif (($x_ratio * $height) < $max_height) {
           $tn_height = ceil($x_ratio * $height);
           $tn_width = $max_width;
   } else {
           $tn_width = ceil($y_ratio * $width);
           $tn_height = $max_height;
   }
   if($size['mime'] == "image/jpeg"){
           $src = ImageCreateFromJpeg($upfile);
           $dst = ImageCreateTrueColor($tn_width, $tn_height);
           imagecopyresampled($dst, $src, 0, 0, 0, 0, $tn_width, $tn_height,$width, $height);
           imageinterlace( $dst, true);
           ImageJpeg($dst, $dstfile, 100);
   } else if ($size['mime'] == "image/png"){
           $src = ImageCreateFrompng($upfile);
           $dst = ImageCreateTrueColor($tn_width, $tn_height);
           imagecopyresampled($dst, $src, 0, 0, 0, 0, $tn_width, $tn_height,$width, $height);
           Imagepng($dst, $dstfile);

   } else {

           $src = ImageCreateFromGif($upfile);
           $dst = ImageCreateTrueColor($tn_width, $tn_height);
           imagecopyresampled($dst, $src, 0, 0, 0, 0, $tn_width, $tn_height,$width, $height);
           imagegif($dst, $dstfile);
   }
}

//usage

may help you . The way you get jQueryFileUploader to do what you want is to subclass the class that does all the work on the server.
If you look at the file structure on the server where you installed the FileUploader it looks something like this
code :
?php
   error_reporting(E_ALL | E_STRICT);
   require('UploadHandler.php');
   $upload_handler = new UploadHandler();
error_reporting(E_ALL | E_STRICT);
require('UploadHandler.php');

class MyUploadHandler extends UploadHandler
{
    /*
     * Maintain our database:
     * For each uploaded file, add an entry to the tbl_xxx
     */
    protected function handle_file_upload($uploaded_file, $name, $size,
                                          $type, $error, $index = null,
                                          $content_range = null)
    {
        // this does what woudl have automatically been done
        // before we subclasses anything
        $file = parent::handle_file_upload($uploaded_file, $name, $size,
                                           $type, $error, $index,
                                           $content_range);

        /* Now we add some extra processing
           if the file uploaded with no problems
         */
        if ( empty($file->error) ) {

            $sql = "INSERT INTO tbl_xxx ( a,b, imgpath)
                    VALUES('x', 'y', '$file->name' )";

            $db->query($sql);

        }
        return $file;
    }
} // end of class

$upload_handler = new MyUploadHandler($site_params);

I wish this helpful for you The best approach, if memory serves, is to start the new request before you call the completion block. Be aware, however, that no matter how you do it, if you repeatedly make short requests, the OS will rapidly increase the delay between when a background download finishes and when your app gets relaunched in the background to handle the session events.
