Javascript requiring a dummy call to "this" to work

Javascript requiring a dummy call to "this" to work

I hope this helps . You should add semicolons after assigning a value to an attribute or variable, even if the value is a function, like here:
code :
// Function to get a cell
this.getCell = function(x, y) {
        return maze[y][x];
}
// Function to get a cell
this.getCell = function(x, y) {
        return maze[y][x];
};

Work-around for failing "git svn clone" (requiring full history)

around this issue I ran into this problem when I had identically-named subdirectories within branches or tags.
For example, I had tags candidates/1.0.0 and releases/1.0.0, and this caused the documented error because subdirectory 1.0.0 appears within both candidates and releases.
code :
git svn clone --authors-file=../authors.txt --no-metadata \
    --trunk=/trunk --branches=/branches --tags=/candidates \
    --tags=/releases --tags=/tags -r 100:HEAD \
    --prefix=origin/ \
    svn://example.com:3692/my-repos/path/to/project/
git svn init --no-metadata \
    --trunk=/trunk --branches=/branches --tags=/tags \
    --prefix=origin/ \
    'svn://example.com:3692/my-repos/path/to/project/'

git config --add svn-remote.svn.tags \
    'path/to/project/candidates/*:refs/remotes/origin/tags/Candidates/*'

git config --add svn-remote.svn.tags \
    'path/to/project/releases/*:refs/remotes/origin/tags/Releases/*'

git svn fetch --authors-file=../authors.txt -r100:HEAD
# Make tags into true tags
cp -Rf .git/refs/remotes/origin/tags/* .git/refs/tags/
rm -Rf .git/refs/remotes/origin/tags

# Make other references into branches
cp -Rf .git/refs/remotes/origin/* .git/refs/heads/
rm -Rf .git/refs/remotes/origin
cp -Rf .git/refs/remotes/* .git/refs/heads/ # May be missing; that's okay
rm -Rf .git/refs/remotes

# Change 'trunk' to 'master'
git checkout trunk
git branch -d master
git branch -m trunk master

I wish did fix the issue. This is a special behavior of JavaScript's dot-notation.
toLowerCase.call(x) is working because JavaScript uses toLowerCase as this while executing call. This is how call (which is the same Function.prototype.call you find on every function) knows you want it to execute toLowerCase.

I hope this helps . I need to test if memory address is readable, so I searched and found this question: How to test if an address is readable in linux userspace app As user @caf stated: , First, create a pipe pair to write the data to:
code :
 int fd[2];
 pipe(fd);
 int result = write(fd[1], addr, 1);
 close(fd[0]);
 close(fd[1]);

hope this fix your issue hasOwnProperty is a property of the object itself. You are checking if the Object object has that property, not if the _g object does:
code :
var hasOwnProperty = _g.hasOwnProperty("dummy");
Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call(_g, 'dummy')

it helps some times Node.js allows circular require (see here). So most likely the infinite loop that is causing the error is a recursive function call (A calls B calls A ...) that never ends. Make sure that all functions complete finitely.
